Renowned for having one of the largest casinos (11,000 squared metres), the Las Vegas Sands owned Venetian is in a prime spot for poker sandwiched between Harrah’s and the Wynn.
Remarkably, the Venetian closed its last 2 cardrooms, but have now done a complete 180 after they dropped in excess of 2.5 million dollars. I guess they underestimated the strength of the poker boom and have now decided to reignite their interest in the wonderful game.
Only time will tell if they have made the correct move in resurrecting their enthusiasm for poker, but I have an eerie feeling that the decision will turn out to be a prosperous one.
