After four year's of success, PokerStars are proud to announce their upcoming schedule for Season Five of the highly acclaimed European Poker Tour.
As with most years, this Season will witness a few changes, mainly regarding the venues and locations at which the EPT Tour bus will stop. Most notable in its inclusion is the return of the EPT Deuville in France. After French Laws prohibited PokerStars from holding further EPTs in the country in 2006, PokerStars are pleased to announce that they now have the go ahead to promote their brand in Deauville and host a welcome return to what many regarded as one of the top venues on the circuit.
Whilst Barcelona remains the opening event of the season, it also appears as though Warsaw, Dortmund, San Remo and Prague have all cemented their positions on the Tour and will once again be welcoming back the hundreds of poker fanatics to their respective cities.
Notable in their absence, however, are Baden, where Britain's Julian Thew triumphed in Season Four and, perhaps most sadly of all, Dublin. As a hotbed of poker, this is a surprising absence, but may be due to poor numbers and a subdued atmosphere at last year's event.

We have set very high standards and aim to improve on this still further in Season 5.”
