Last Tuesday, blondepoker's very own Tom ‘RED-DOG' McCready took top spot in Ladbrokes's weekly ‘Who Is The Daddy?' Comp. Blonde's favourite moustached hound fended off a field of 241 to capture this week's title and receive a touch more than his $320 entry fee in return. In fact, in what has to be his biggest online scoop, RED pocketed in excess of $20,000.
Delighted with his performance, but humble at the same time, Tom was understandably overawed with his victory and was grateful for the support he had garnered. Several ever-present members of the blonde forum had crowded onto the rail to offer cheers of encouragement, and it seems it did the trick. Long live the P.R.O!
Tom is quoted as saying, ‘This win was long overdue for me. I'd come close a number of times, placing 2nd and 3rd , but it was great to finally win it.'
In appreciation of the congratulations he has received, the ol' dog also said, ‘ Thank you very much guys, very humbling. I can honestly say, hand on heart, I deserve it. RED is great, oh yeah, ba de da da ba da de da dum.'
