The man who has bravely taken on the task at hand is Rio's cardroom manager, Robert Daily. The 62-year old casino veteran replaces Johnny Grooms to become Harrah's third WSOP Tournament Director in as many years.

Although last year's Series was deemed to be a roaring success, there were several problems that resulted in complaints being made. To correct these, Harrah's are said to be incorporating portable restrooms, a designated smoking area, a player's lounge, and an increase in media relations.

Daily's resumé may boast the 2005 Tournament of Champions Event, but the WSOP is the biggest stage of them all. And with even more competitors predicted for this year's poker festivities, the new man in charge undoubtedly has a tough road ahead.
