When did you start playing poker?
only played for about a month live apart from the odd home game, online for about 2 years tho having a tough time of it recently- have to say live poker beats online by a mile

bet365 tho recently joined blonde and like blonde too! play Ladbrokes sometimes but cant seem to buy a win on there at the moment!

What is the harshest beat you have inflicted on an opponent?
When I first started playing live I knew the ranking of hands but thats about it and didnt have a clue how to play properly- it was at a time when I didnt have a clue about position, value of starting hands, when to fold etc- I.e. any 2 cards could win to me- so after I receieved my student loan I decided to play in a bigger game than I was used to it was cash game on ladbrokes $3/$6 game bought in for $600 one of the first hands dealt I had Td 3d Im thinking whoo hoo suited cards
and I call- a guy behind me made a massive overbet reraise of $60 and then I called that too the flop came something like Tc 6s 3h the guy then bet $200 into the pot and I went all in and he called- the turn brought me a 3rd 3c for the full house and I ended up winning almost $1200, the guy was going absolutely crazy with me shouting all the insults in the world- my response- " but they were suited"
Who are your poker heroes?
Too many great players to mention, but heres a few of my fav's- Phil Ivey, Daniel Negraneu, Howard Lederer, I know its a cliche to say these players but theres a reason why theyre so popular, barry greenstein is also fantastic tho u dont get to see much of him because he's not one of the "fashionable players"
Who is your best friend in poker?
None of my mates are into poker- they just see it as pure gambling and wont listen

What are your greatest accomplishments in poker?
Close to when I started playing poker on ladbrokes I managed to win a $30 buy in multi and won about $1800. I also qualified for a $500 buy in tournament in my 1st week on labdrokes. To be honest when I 1st joined Ladbrokes I managed to do well in tournys when my knowledge was well in its infancy and now I cant seem to buy a win-it does make u wonder
What is your most embarrassing moment in poker?
probably my harshest beat as above-wasnt embarrassed at the time mind
Which Blondepoker thread did you enjoy the most?
Robyongs Dusk til Dawn thread talking about his new club is quite excitin- the place sounds as if its going to be the best card room in the country by a mile- U wonder tho how it will make any money, I know its a not for profit club but he'll obviously want it to earn enough so its not making any losses after paying staff, bills etc but he'll also want to be clawing back a lot of the money he puts in. Obviously a big portion will be sponsorship and major poker events but you just hope pokers demand remains intact for the club to succeed.
The thing I love most about BlondePoker is?
As everyone says- the community feel it brings to poker, and also its good for liasing with other players to find out where certain tournaments are being played at what time
My biggest pet hate in poker is?
When you hold top 2 pair like 7d 8d on a flop of 7s 8c 2d and you know the guy has an over pair of something like Tc Td and you put in big bets and he goes over the top only for the 2nd deuce to fall on the turn or river and give him the higher 2 pair- or when u are well ahead about 90/10 and somebody hits runner runner flush that shouldnt even have been in the hand
What are your main interests outside poker?
Football(playing and watching) drinking and women sound like a lout dont I,

Ive played a full 90 minutes on the Famous Ibrox turf aswell as trained at Murray park(twice)-won a carling competition last year to get through to it

So many depends what mood im in- Johnny cash, Jim Morrisson, Caleb Followhill(kings of leon)-has such a unique voice, Sam Cooke, Ray charles, Freddie Mercury, Bill Withers plus many more- Ipods are the greatest invention of this decade!!!

Again same as above depends what mood Im iin-right now its both johnny cash songs- Cocaine blues & Folsom prison blues, but too many songs to mention

Benidorm lol only jokin was Ibiza for many years but grown out of that a bit now one place im dying to go back to is Singapore
If I could change one thing about myself I would?
Be more disciplined at the poker table(and in life) my personality seems to go hand in hand with the way I play at poker- always thoughtful but sometimes reckless- I always seem to play well then blow up on one hand- On saturday I played in the rebuy and never had to rebuy, I played for 5.5 hours top 3 paid 6 left Im on Button folded round to me and I move all in(I was about 4th in chips) with 44, I get called by small blind and he flips over 88,
My rational for doing so was the blinds were getting high but if Im honest with myself I didnt have to make that move-at best im 50/50 from a caller
Still wasn't 5.5 hours for nothing-at least I have the experience
