Ladbrokes Poker is delighted to introduce more currency choice for its players. Not only do we now have both Euro and $USD poker tables, but your poker balance will now also be held and displayed in your local currency that you selected during registration. Both table currencies and balance currencies are explained in more detail below.

Poker Balance / Poker “Wallet”:

If you are an existing customer, your poker balance will have been displayed in $USD. However, as part of the upgrade, all poker balances will be converted into your local currency that you selected during your registration.

If you are a new customer, during the account registration process you will be asked to select your chosen local currency – when you make a deposit, the balance in your poker “wallet” will be displayed in this currency.

Currencies that are currently available are:

  • GBP UK Pounds
  • AUD Australian Dollars
  • CAD Canadian Dollars
  • DKK Danish Kroner
  • EUR Euros
  • HKD Hong Kong Dollars
  • MOP Macau Pataca
  • NZD New Zealand Dollars
  • NOK Norwegian Kroner
  • SGD Singapore Dollars
  • ZAR South African Rand
  • SEK Swedish Kronor
  • CHF Swiss Francs
  • USD United States Dollars
  • MYR Malaysian Ringgits
  • PLN Polish Zloty
  • RUB Russian Rubles
N.B. If your local currency is JPY, THB, RMB, or CNY, accounts will be displayed in $USD.

Poker Tables now in Euro & $USD:

NL Holdem Cash Games up to the level of $2/$4 are now available in both $USD and Euro. Those in USD will only be available to Ladbrokes players, whereas those in Euro will be available to Ladbrokes players as well as players from one other leading sports betting site on the network. Tables above the $2/$4 level will only be available in Euro and will be available to all players on the network.

The table currencies are clearly marked within the lobby. When you sit down at your chosen poker table, an exchange rate will apply from your local currency to your table currency, and this will be displayed at that time. When you leave the table, that same exchange rate will apply back to your poker 'wallet' so there will be no effect on moving exchange rates.

Tournaments are also available in both currencies. The tournament schedule you will find in the MTT lobby will be a combination of Network tournaments (available in Euro) and Ladbrokes exclusive tournaments (available in $USD, unless we run qualifiers to offline events where the buy-in has a different currency, then that currency will apply for that tournament as well, e.g. Ladbrokes.com Irish Poker Festival where the buy-in and package will be in Euros). Network tournaments and Ladbrokes-own tournaments will be displayed in different colours in the poker lobby so that you can easily distinguish between them.

When you have selected the tournament you want to play in, at the time of buy-in an exchange rate will be applied from your local currency to the currency of the tournament, and any payouts will be converted back in to your local currency at the same rate.
