The Isle of Thanet is the most easterly part of Kent and is home to the coastal towns of Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs.
It is also the home of leg 8 of the GUKPT, which starts today (Monday 12th October) at the G Casino at Westwood Cross. The festival starts with a £200 freezeout and concludes with the £1,000 main event, which takes place over four days from Thursday 15th - Sunday 18th October.
Last year's winner was online pro Andrew Teng, who overcame Jamie Brown heads up to take the title. Will he become the first person to successfully defend a GUKPT title?
