Hassan Irfan Wins DTD Deepstack
The first DTD £300 monthly deepstack event took place over the weekend. For the first time there was an overlay in this event with £11,900 provided by DTD with 227 runners participating. The overlay is probably down to post Christmas financial priorities for players and poor weather conditions making travel difficult.
The event was won by Hassan Irfan who came 2nd in this event in March 2009. Heads up against Andriena Nutt, Hassan took KQ against 88 and flopped a Queen to win the final hand.
