Brunet wins the ChiliPoker deepstack

The main event 'The 2010 Chilipoker Deepstack Poker Open' Sold out over a month in advance. 465 players ended up taking part with over 300 of those from France, Belgium & Switzerland. Other countries well represented with players included Italy, The Netherlands, Ireland & Germany.

Pro players Sandra Naujoks and Andy Black were among the professionals who made the trip to Dublin.

Frederic is a French player who bought in directly to the event as did Italian runner up Roberto Salatiello.


2008 Winner Dara O'Kearney made his 3rd cash and 2nd Final table meaning he has cashed in all 3 European Deepstack Poker Championship Main Events.

2009 Runner-Up Jason Tompkins made the final table again this year finishing 8th. He was one of the 5 lucky players who got in as an alternate. He was among the 200 or so players who left it too late to buy in to the event.
 
All the main side events sold out. The €300 event nearly doubling the initial 150 cap and the €200 event selling out at 200 players.
 
The first two tickets for the 2011 event were sold to Harry Evans & Stevie Crymble before the first level of the 2010 was complete. Dutch player Steven Smith won the bubble prize donated by Chilipoker which is free entry into the 2011 event.
 
The 2011 event is capped at 1500 players and will feature 2 day ones and an extended 4 day structure. Online registration opens soon at Chilipoker.
 
D4 Events next event is The European Shorthanded Poker Championships whcih take plave at the Ballsbridge Inn, Dublin between Sept 10th & 13th 2010. Full details will be announced shortly.
