Despite the July DTD Monthly Deepstack coinciding with the tail end of the WSOP, 243 runners formed the field for the £60,000 guaranteed event creating a prize pool of £72,900. A very creditable turn-out given the competing attractions this weekend.
The tournament concluded in a five-way deal on chip count with each player taking between £9,000 and £13,000, with overall victory going to chip-leader Fraser Belllamy, who also won this event in August 2009
