Sky Poker Tour Grand Final 2009-2010

The Grand Final of the 2009-10 Sky Poker Tour was played at Dusk Till Dawn, Nottingham over the weekend of 11th-12th September.

267 players participated, paying £200 each for the two day Deep-stack tournament that represented the culmination of the 2009-2010 Sky Poker Tour that saw over 1,000 players take part over six locations across the United Kingdom. The Grand Final alone created a £53,400 Prize Pool.

The event was won by 20 year old Rob "Bobbycat" Shiell (picture attached) from Sutton Coldfield for £14,500 and the winners trophy. This was amazingly Rob's first ever live tournament, into which he qualifed on SkyPoker.com via a £2.40 satellite. Rob beat John Clark and Bob Drummond to the win.
