POKER FOR HEROES
Dusk Till Dawn Are Proudly Hosting a Charity Poker Tournament in Memory of Corporal Liam Riley, and Offering Support to other British Heroes.
On Sunday 29th May a charity poker tournament is being held at Europe’s largest poker venue Dusk Till Dawn, to raise money and support for British army heroes. The tournament has already received massive support from big poker names including PokerStars, William Hill, Ladbrokes, Betfred, Grosvenor, Genting Poker, PKR, Sky, Blue Sq, PartyPoker, 888, and IPE (Independent Poker Events). All of which have donated prizes, totaling a worth of more than £22,000!
Poker for Heroes is priced at £125, of which a guaranteed £100 will be donated to Help for Heroes, raising money for wounded soldiers injured serving their country. The remaining £25 per player will be added to the prizepool.
The current prizepool includes donations from the following;
PokerStars - £8000 EPT Package, including a £5000 seat + £3000 expenses
William Hill - Irish Winter Festival Package, including a €1650 seat + €1050 expenses
Genting Poker - Palm Beach Big Game Package, including £1080 seat + £420 expenses
Ladbrokes - Killarney Festival Package, including main event buy in + 3 days accommodation, worth £1,200
Grosvenor - GUKPT Main Event seat, worth £1,000
PKR - 2 x £1000 Poker packages
Bluesq - 2 x GUKPT Goliath seats worth £125 each
Betfred - $4,300 of online poker seats, worth $215 each
Skypoker - Grand Final seat, worth £220
888 - 8 Live superstack seats worth £165 each
IPE - Salford Mint Megastack 200 seat, worth £200
All further donations to the event would be greatly received, along with anyone wishing to sponsor a soldier’s entrance into the event.
