A group of UK poker players are attempting to break Phil Laaks current Guinness world record for the longest continuous poker game starting on the 21st Feb 2012. All being well it will last for 5 days straight to break the current 115 hour record.

The event is being held for the help for heroes charity

6 players are lined up for the attempt, playing a low staked cash table and inviting others to fill the 3 spare seats to mix the game up a bit.

The event will be held at Duffs card room in Reading.

This is a record that has got the poker circuit buzzing and should have a great chance in succeeding.

It will be documented and details like, how many hands were dealt, how much we made and of course how much we were able to break the record by will all be interesting to read.
