Shackleton and Rhind win dual Sky Poker Tour events
Sam Shackleton and Jamie Rhind won Sky Poker Tour Events this weekend at Brighton and Glasgow respectively. The one day events at the Rendezvous casino, Brighton and Alea Casino, Glasgow ran concurrently and each attracted 145 players.
In Brighton, Sky Poker's Professional Julian Thew almost pulled off an amazing back-to-back double after his win at the Luton event last time out, but he was foiled by youngster Shackleton who recovered from a chip deficit to beat Thew Heads Up.
In Glasgow, it was third time lucky for Rhind, with two cashes already on the 2011-12 Tour, and now an outright win for his third cash so far this year.
As a consequence of these results Julian Thew leads Jamie Rhind in the Sky Poker Tour Leaderboard with three events of thbe season still to play.
The Tour now moves to its fifth leg in Cardiff, a one day event at the Les Croupiers Casino on Saturday 28th April. Satellite Qualification on www.skypoker.com will begin shortly.
