Nope, I don't mean at poker, but that would be one hell of a contest! I can't see Phil badmouthing the Dark Lord of the Sith.

The headline is in fact referring to the silver screen, but this time, Phil Hellmuth won't be the one at the felt. Rumour has it that Star Wars Villain Hayden Christensen is being lined up to play Phil in a biopic of his life.

The film, to be titled 'Madison Kid', is yet to be given the green light by studios, but if it does, then Darth Vader's inner being may well be the man for the job.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, 41 year old Hellmuth is one of the World's leading money earners in tournament history. After defeating Johnny Chan heads up in the 1989 WSOP Main Event, Hellmuth was elevated to stardom and fast became a household name within the poker community. Since then, he has notched up a further 8 bracelets, and remains just one title behind Chan and poker legend Doyle Brunson.

My only worry is that the emergence of a film in which Phil's part is played by a handsome young actor, could massage the 'Poker Brat's' ego to the absolute extreme. If you think he's loud, brash, and arrogant now, then wait until 'Madison Kid' is released!
