Rumour has it that the Sandcastle Casino in Blackpool was burdened by fire in the early hours of this morning.
Although casino fires are a rare occurrence, it soon became evident that this was no fire drill. In fact the word on the grapevine is that smoke was filling up the reception area with bright sparks flickering around outside the building.
Players were involved in a final table of the night's poker comp when the building was evacuated. All patrons to the casino gathered outside where they watched the fire department quickly extinguish the blaze.
Details are currently sketchy, but as soon as we hear more we'll let you know.
The origin of the fire has yet to been clarified, but the lowest stack in the final has yet to be questioned.
