It's lucky for me that the final nine players decided to retire for the night and play the final tomorrow, or we may well have missed the next instalment of Blondeite On A WSOP Final (after Pab's 6-handed appearance seemingly just hours ago...it all gets a bit blurry here).
Here are the final nine, in seat order:
Michael Tedesco | 278,000
Jason Lester | 222,000 | ||
Tony Hartmann | 163,000 | ||
Stuart Fox | 214,000 | ||
Alan Sass | 431,000 | ||
Emad Tahtouh | 97,000 | ||
Kirill Gerasimov | 124,000
Gregg Turk | 122,000 |
I'll be honest and say that the only one I'm familiar with is scary Russian Kirill Gerasimov, but if the others are of the same calibre it will be a tough one. However, his chip position is anything but weak, and if there's anyone not to be put off by the whizz-bang lightscameraaction stuff, it's Stuart.
There may be a slight change of plan in the air, as the blonde update team may not be able to stop ourselves from covering this final tomorrow. I assume the start time will be 2pm - that's 10pm over in the UK. However, there is a (relatively) small buy-in tourney commencing tomorrow - they just keep on comin' - so it may be delayed a bit. Congratulations to Stuart and we'll be supporting him as he attempts to win some shiny gold wrist ornamentation.
