It is becoming vividly clear this year that the Welsh love their poker, and nothing has proven this more than the increasing amount of festivals that are cropping up in Wales. And this time it's the capital's turn to host a week of poker fun and froilics as Cardiff looks set to host the Welsh Poker Festival.
Whilst locals Martyn Cavanagh, Roberto Romanello, Jamie Fisher and co are all likely to make appearances, don't be surprised if the odd familiar face off the circuit showed up. Cardiff is a nice, friendly place to play, and even though the Main Event is only a £500 Freezeout affair, it often attracts a whole host of recognisable names.
