Grosvenor Luton is 20 minutes away. I also play at the Gutshot and the Vic, and sometimes farther afield on the UK circuit

What is your favourite online site?

At the moment a cash game on an unnamed (to you, anyway!) network. Generally I like Stars STTs and Laddies MTT

What is the harshest beat you have inflicted on an opponent?

I was fed up, hadn't won a hand all night in the £100 PLHE cash game. I needed to go home, work in the morning...I limped utg with K4 suited, as you do! utg+1 raises the pot, and utg +2 re-raises the pot. It comes back to me, what am I meant to do, pass? 

4 3 2 on the flop, a blank turn and trip 4 on the river....I'd cracked QQ and KK for a big pot.

UTG+2 curses me, seriously without joking, to this day.

Who are your poker heroes?

I got the bug like a lot of people from watching LNP and then the US shows on challenge. From all of that the player I liked the most, and could associate with best in terms of my natural temperament and style (I wish!) was Howard Lederer. There are more, but I'm not embarrassing them here by naming them

Who is your best friend in poker?

Sheriff Fatman and Awesome Ali, but don't tell them. Luton wise, 77Dave, especially if he sits at my cash game.

What are your greatest accomplishments in poker?

Three final tables in Luton ranking events, including chopping one at a festival in 2005l

Of the bigger Luton events, Won £100 rebuy twice(September 2005/ Dec 2005) and £250 freezeout twice ( November 2004 and November 2005)

Online, won a $12k gtd on Laddies in October 2005, won an Unusual suspects online event, lots of Crypto MTT final tables, a few Stars MTT finishes

I was quite proud of making 10 final tables in 16 Luton events in June/July 2005, winning 2

A long long way to go before I achieve what I want to in Poker though

What is your most embarrassing moment in poker?

Bluffing all in into quads on a ranking event table with Carlo Citrone, Micky Wernick and Stuart Nash watching....( )

Red Dogs Twin and Rob Yong's diary...a tie

The thing I love most about BlondePoker is?

The railbirding, and the unique sense of camaraderie

My biggest pet hate in poker is?

Rudeness at the table towards dealers and other players

What are your main interests outside poker?

Leicester City football club, the NFL and sportsbetting on it, pub quizzes (!), coaching my kids football team, films and any sport at all.
