I was born in London back in (tries to count back 21 from now . will that work?) 1984... ok 1969. Grew up in Acton . hmmm nice area of London, and what we didn't learn about life from trying to beat the estate boys to safety before they beat the living daylights out of us, my mum taught me playing cards. Racing demons, whist and rummy being the games of choice, racing demons being the only full contact card game I know!

So then the boring stuff before poker gets slotted in! Got good O levels. Thought I was clever and discovered boys . got 1 A level (just). Went to agriculture college qualified as a farm manager (and hardened drinker) but couldn't get a job as a woman - "My lads won't take orders from a lass" syndrome. Had been riding since 3, and eventing since 15 so ended up (long story) as a three day eventer. Qualified for badminton and was on the long list for the Sydney Olympics when I had a bad riding accident and that, as they say, was the end of that.

I now work on and off, and in between play poker. I have been playing for around 8 years now. I started playing in Stakis, Russell Square, graduated to the Vic and then the world!! I play anything . a gambler at heart; the more complicated the game the more I enjoy it. So if 6 pot limit card hi-lo "L" is your bag, I'll be there.

I used to run private games in London, but although a very profitable side line, getting players in the right place at the right time every week was a logistical nightmare and although we did well and had good reports from the games, I ended up deciding to spend more time playing than actually organising.

I enjoy the social side of poker as much as the playing side; I am extremely competitive and like beating the boys. Recent results include a final table in Tunica 2005 along with 2 other money finishes, and splitting the 500 euro rebuy with Peter Costa and Ivan Donaghy in the Merrion.

The player I most admire is Lucy Rokach. I think she is streets above all the other female players in Europe. My dream is to be the first woman to win the main event of the WSOP - we can all dream can't we!!

I have always admired (and feared) the way Dave plays, and have loved reading Tikays reports so to be involved in blondepoker is an honour. At present I am working, but I am starting to get too busy with other things to actually find I may not have time to work anymore!
