Forced to overcome a 1-0 deficit, KeithyB gallantly fought back to win 2-1, first levelling it up when his Q-9 stood up against tikay's J-7 on a x-x-7-x-Q board, before finally sealing victory at around midnight.
Clearly elated with his victory, KeithyB later commented: "Well I now know the meaning of the word attritional that's for sure! Thanks to the railers, who didn't get much explosive poker in the first two games.... ok didn't get any at all! Thanks to Take That who were playing here. Gotta have a little patience! Thanks to tikay - he wasn't cuddly tonight, he was downright scary! Biggest thanks though to my Eight-Nine suited for holding up against a weak Ace-King without which I would have been toast in the 2nd game!!!"
tikay was similarly delighted for his opponent, taking defeat in his stride by adding, "RECOUNT!" and "BAN HIM!".

Many thanks must be directed towards Richard 'TightEnd' Prew who organised each round and gathered the troops together so that each match could be completed in time. A hell of a task, but Tighty happily took it on.
On a personal note, I'm just pleased that I was conquered by the eventual champion as otherwise, I would have made it to the final at the very least... perhaps.
