When did you start playing poker?
2000 on Yahoo! for fun. Shortly afterwards, started playing live tournaments in Salford, Manchester. Started playing online at UltimateBet in October 2001, and PokerStars in 2002.
Where can you be found playing live?
These days I can be found occasionally playing at the G Casino in Salford.
What is your favourite online site?
After trying loads of them, PokerStars still has to be one of the best out there.

What is the harshest beat you have inflicted on an opponent?
Playing live, I managed to get a guy to fold his hand. Unfortunately, I didn't have any cards in front of me!
Who are your poker heroes?
I wouldn't say "hero", but I respect Lucy Rokach.
Who is your best friend in poker?
A couple of people who have been very supportive to me, especially when I first started are Felicia Lee from Laughlin, and Al Spath. Sadly, I've never met them face to face.
What are your greatest accomplishments in poker?
I've won a few tournaments and people seem to enjoy my writing in my poker blog. However, I think my best achievement was when I taught a guy how to play Omaha H/L. He had never played the game before and had no concept on what to do. I only had 30 minutes to show him the ropes before the tournament started. After knocking me out, he went on to win the event.
What is your most embarrassing moment in poker?
Struggling to find a certain casino in Manchester, which I had already visited many times before, and ending up driving around and around for hours. I'm crap at following directions. I even managed to get lost trying to find my way back home afterwards!

My biggest pet hate in poker is?
Losing money.
What are your main interests outside poker?
Reading, listening to music and writing when I'm in the mood.
Tell us something about yourself none of us would know
I wrote a murder story when I was 15 and my English teacher thought it was so good, that I must have cheated. I used to be a very good trumpet player as well.
What is your favourite pie filling?
Cheese and onion.
Who is your favourite singer?
Very difficult to answer. I tend to like singer/songwriters. I think Tim Booth and Chris Rea both wrote and sung some beautiful, poetic songs that can really grab you.
What is your favourite song?
"One of the Three" by James.
Who is your ideal man or woman?
A woman who could love me just for who I am, despite all my flaws.
What is your favourite holiday destination?
Cyprus.
If I could change one thing about myself I would?
To get out of the house more! There's a psychological barrier between me and the front door which I find very difficult jumping over. The thing is, I have a great time with my friends when I do go out.
