Also in Blackpool, Walsall, Nottingham, Sheffield etc... when the festivals are on

What is your favourite online site?

Several - Bet 365 and Full Tilt just now

What is your handle there?

bubble munky

What is the harshest beat you have inflicted on an opponent?

I held Qh Jh v his Kd Ts
Flop:  Kc Kh Th
Turn: Ks
River: 9h
T'was a cash game, so he just had to reload - still a pretty stinky beat for him though.

Incidentally, I can recall with unnerving accuracy at least three occasions when I have been stung by 1-outers on the river - at least I had two outs in the above hand!

Who are your poker heroes?

I admire Dan Harrington for his back to back WSOP Final achievement against massive fields - I have also learned a lot from his recent books, Harrrington on Hold'em.
I love to watch Ivey and Negreanu play - in my view a pair of complete players.
My poker hero, though, is Stu Ungar, the best poker player ever. I wish he were here today to be part of this poker boom, showing Hellmuth, Mattusow et al a thing or three on shows like WPT.

Who is your best friend in poker?

Several - all play in North East card rooms.

What are your greatest accomplishments in poker?

Best big live tourney performance to date is a 6th in a 147 runner £300 Freezeout in the Vic - went out holding 55 v 44 - he hits the 4 on the river!
Playing in Vegas has been a dream for a long time, which I finally achieved in Jan '06 - that was pretty awesome.

What is your most embarrassing moment in poker?

Going out second (out of over 100 runners) in the second big live tourney I ever played (£300 Freezeout at Walsall) on hand number 4. I held AA v KK - we got a fair amount of chips in pre-flop, but then I failed to put my hand down on a King high flop after raise and reraise. I still maintain he could have been holding AK, but I felt like a chump when he showed me his set and I had to walk less than 10 mins into the game.

Which Blondepoker thread did you enjoy the most?

Only recently started reading the forum, but enjoyed the thread about one member (Tank perhaps) trying to play so many STT's in a month or something - very interesting and quite amusing in places. I particularly like the live update threads from the big games too.

The thing I love most about BlondePoker is?

It seems like a pretty friendly atmosphere.

My biggest pet hate in poker is?

I have lots, but big ones are experienced players getting onto newbies, people objecting to a £5 tip being taken from a £150+ pot in a cash game for a waitress who has just brought umpteen cups of tea/other drinks, card room managers and supervisors who clearly have little insight into the game or it's rules (and even less desire to learn about them) and final tables where x number of prizes are made up "just so everyone gets something" (it's not uncommon in some NE card rooms for a 30 player event to have 10 people getting paid due to this ridiculous attitute to prize monies).

What are your main interests outside poker?

Football, lager, photography, travelling, reading.

Who is your ideal man or woman?

Elisha Cuthbert (Kim Bauer in 24, lead star in The Girl Next Door)

What is your favourite holiday destination?

Spain & Vegas

If I could change one thing about myself I would...
