At the close of 2006, most of you will probably already know that Blonde Poker and Dusk Till Dawn struck a deal in which DTD would become the proud sponsors of the BP Forum.
In return for banners, boards on the forum and a focus on the DTD players during live events, Rob Yong and Tony Kendall agreed to a yearly figure that would help finance Blonde Poker's Live Updates and other running costs. In addition, Dusk Till Dawn would offer £8,000 to the Blondeites, to either be given in the form of Blonde Bash prizes or via Blonde Poker League bonuses, freerolls, and so on.
As you will have noticed from the recent banners on the site, this deal has now officially commenced, and Dusk Till Dawn will see out the rest of 2007 as the proud sponsors of Blonde Poker.
For you, the reader, these changes will be minimum, and all you'll have to put up with are the DTD banners. In addition, there are now three new boards available on the forum for you to post in - 'DTD General Discussion', 'DTD Online' and 'DTD Live' in which you are invited to discuss anything DTD related, whether it be events on the DTD cardroom, the opening of the new cardroom in Nottingham, or even why Mr Yong is putting his neck on the line for this most incredible of ventures.
If you have yet to open a DTD account, then now is your chance, simply click one of the flashing banners on the site, or, alternatively, click here and insert the code 'BPOKER' upon downloading the software. Either way, Blonde Poker will benefit financially, a gesture to which we would be extremely grateful.
With all these changes, the bottom line is that all you favourite aspects will remain. Whether you are fan of the live updates, the forum banter, the news items or even the odd caption comp, you can still follow all of them items in the same manner as you did before.
The future's bright, the future's Blonde.
