In true poker celebrity form, Daniel Negreanu has followed the ‘I’m famous, why not write a book’ route to put pen to paper in what will be his first outing into the world of poker literature.

Following in the footsteps of the likes of Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth, Dan Harrington and golly, anyone who’s ever been on TV, Negreanu aims to emulate the success of the aforementioned with ‘Hold’Em Wisdom For All Players.’

Whilst the phrase ‘for all players’ brings about immediate apprehension in me, I shall remain subjective and keep my fingers crossed that Negreanu at least attempts to expose the odd secret that has seen him be so successful - if his multiple WPT wins and near 10 million in tournament winnings are anything to go by, then he sure has plenty to tell.

Until I’ve read this potentially intriguing publication, you’re probably best (cough) listening to the words of Avery Cardoza, publisher of Hold'Em Wisdom for All Players, who can’t possibly be biased (sigh): "Daniel Negreanu's writing style is conversational, straightforward, and educational. This book covers topics as diverse as the Top 10 Rookie Mistakes to Bullying Bullies and Exploiting Your Table Image."

But forget that, just read it yourself and make your own minds up. And when you’re done, why not drop into the forum and let us know what you thought?

‘Hold’Em Wisdom For All Poker Players’ is now available in all good book stores… and some crap ones. Alternatively, order online at www.cardsharkmedia.com/book.html.

Fingers crossed it’s a good un.
