I've only ever played live 5 times - 2 at APAT, 2 at Gutshot and once in Vegas. I've cashed 2 out of the 5 and actually think I play better live.

Usually Stars, but have had so many suckouts there recently, it's untrue. If Full Tilt had more traffic and more tournaments running during the evening, I'd play there more. They seem to cater for the US players more.

Haha, has to be the one on Saturday at the APAT tournament in Cardiff. I was short-stacked and pushed with A4. Got 2 callers. Flop KTx. Guy bets out, other one folds. He shows KT for top 2 pair. Turn is an Ace, River is a 4 for a runner runner higher 2 pair.

I have a lot of repect for Greg Raymer and the way he's been a great ambassador for poker. I also like watching Daniel Negreanu and the way he puts people on hands. It's scarey!

I don't actually have a 'best' friend. I have made quite a few friends from ~cough~ another forum who I occasionally chat to on IRC. I'm trying to get to know people here at Blonde, and I got to do that last weekend in Cardiff.

Unfortunately not many to mention. My favourite is from a couple of years ago. I won a $10 tournament run by another forum. Part of the prize was a free entry to the (then) $100k Guaranteed at Paradise. Usual entry fee was $300. Top 30 got paid, and I finished 29th for $533. Not a bad return on my initial $10.
Also getting ITM in last week's APAT was a big thrill for me.

AT UB once I held pocket Tens. Another 10 came on the flop for my set. However, the board was showing 4 spades when the river fell. I got reraised. At UB you have the ability to fold & show. I did that as I didn't have a spade. Someone asked me in the chat why I folded the full house. I hadn't notice that the board had paired.

The friendly atmosphere and the banter. It's also nice to have a UK based forum. Usually the British humour is lost on Americans.
