Simon 'ACES' Trumper is well known and respected on the poker scene as a man who has played at the highest levels for years and made over a million dollars doing so. Now, however, the former Late Night Poker Winner is going back to grass roots and could be coming soon to a card room near you to share his wealth of poker wisdom.
As part of the DTD Grass Roots Poker Tour, Simon will be playing in small stakes tournaments around the UK, in many venues he’ll be joined by a fellow DTD professional player.It’s a perfect chance to pick Simon and other pros' brains for everything from tips on bankroll management to hearing tales about life on the EPT circuit.
Simon says: “I’ve come a long crazy way since I took part in my first £20 tournament but it’s at these small games that all professional players learn their trade. I’m looking forward to seeing how the landscape has changed since I last played at these levels.”
The Grass Roots Tour kicked off In Simon’s hometown of Nottingham at the Nottingham Gala £20 re-buy tournament on the 28th March. Some of the other locations on the tour are Liverpool, Bournemouth, Brighton, Hull and Sheffield.
