Poker Goes To The Extreme

After the raging success of underwater poker in the Caribbean, Juha Helppi is back in extreme mode with Artic Poker.

At the felt, Juha is one of the coolest customers around, but when he plays in his next Extreme Event, he'll be as cold as ice. In fact, all his opponents will be shivering as they cross swords in the artic fields of Finland.

The location will be the Snow Castle, an impressive ice and snow structure in Kemi, Finland, Juha's homeland. Joining the Flying Fin will be three online qualifiers, Pete Giordano, and 2002 World Champion Robert Varkonyi.

If you think that is the end of the madness, then think again. Not only is this Artic Poker, but it's Strip Artic Poker, in which players will have the choice between taking a rebuy or removing an item of clothing. If they can't take the heat (well, the cold) then they'll have to concede and exit the game.

The event commences on the 29th March. Brrrrrrr. I feel cold just thinking about it.
