New Bond Daniel Craig (whom I can't help but call Blonde, James Blonde, only the once) has needed some coaching to look the correct shade of cool at the poker table. The Sun mentions that veteran John Duthie had to be brought in to school the actors to look comfortable at the table.
Seeing as the new 'Casino Royale' contains gambling scenes integral to the film, they can't have their leading lights looking like rookies. But let's not judge him too harshly - there was a time when chip riffling, staring in an intimidating manner and even passing in turn was beyond us all.
I would like to add that poker appearing in a Bond movie makes it officially trendy. The Sun reports that an insider revealed, "Everyone at the hotel has been laughing about a Bond who can't play cards," but that's nothing to be ashamed of. Not liking Martinis, guns or fast cars, however...
