Trace T has been playing poker for two years, in her own words for "VERY low stakes and more for fun than serious". She has only played Online so far. She heard about BlondePoker from her friend Angie Newth (North Angel) and from watching coverage of the Game 4 Life launch party on Poker 425. She already knew a number of Blondeites through her association with Poker4Charity, such as Royal Flush, Ginger, Just Jo and The Truth.
On 8th October 2005 Trace T entered a $250 guaranteed limit tournament on VC Poker. For her, this was going to be a competition with a difference, as she was being watched by a Guardian Angel in fellow Blondeite Ariston.
From the early stages of the tournament Ariston was aiding Trace T's cause by invading the chat box and, in his own inimitable style, going "on and on and on" Discovering Ariston was railbirding her, Trace began asking Ariston questions via MSN. Rumour has it some of these actually involved the tournament.
In Ariston's own words:
"It was a limit competition and I began to help Trace by advising her on raising with position and generally noticing a few things that Trace hadn't. Trace began to do very well and her understanding of my advice was growing. One hand I recall she had Q3 spades on the button, and she raised as advised. The flop came 33Q. The UTG limper had AQ and the Big blind was slow-playing KK, which was nice" The rest was history, and to quote Ariston again "She was always at or near the top of the leader board and won comfortably"
The result was Trace T's first ever MTT win and prize money of $140.80.
Trace T intends to make her "live" poker debut at the Poker4Charity Christmas Event in Nottingham next month
