Once again, the enigmatic Marc Goodwin informs us of his celebrity antics and general star mingling, but this time, his chirpy anecdotes derive from the sunny shores of Melbourne - more specifically, the Aussie Millions.

As Marc progresses through this year's Aussie Millions at the Crown Plaza Casino, we hope to hear even more from him... perhaps even a Main Event win.

So, watch out for more blog entries, but for now, see what Marc has been up to during the early stages of the festival.

Aussie Aussie Aussie

Hi Blonde people!! This year’s poker frenzy begins with a trip to Australia and the Aussie Millions in Melbourne. Its like a whos who here in The Crown Plaza hotel. Just met Andy Roddick in the lift and Martina Hingis by the pool. Had to blank them both though as I had an important tournament later in the day and didn’t want to lose focus.

All the Full Tilt boys are here and tomorrow we head off with Phil Ivey and Gus Hanson for a high stakes golf match with my partner in crime Ram Vaswani. One round of golf is worth a year’s winnings on the Europen Tour so, as you can imagine, some serious verbal takes place, with all sides trying to negotiate the best handicap - he reason we win is that Ram is different class at winding up Mr Ivey .

This is my first tournament for my new sponsor Mansion so its important to get off to a winning start… so I go and get myself knocked out in 23rd in the Omaha to none other than Andy Black. (You travel half way around the world to get beat by a player you bump into every week.)

I have got my own back though as I have just done the expert analysis for the William Hill poker Grand Prix for Sky TV and I gave him some grief for playing like a mouse lol. (I wanted to say girl there but Jen and Rhow will get me!) That’s not such a bad thing though I suppose.

Anyway, the media event is on its way and all the tennis players are here with none other than Shane Warne starting the Main Event. Got to go now, off to the gym!! If you believe that then please pop round my house for a game as you must be easily led.

All the best... Mr Cool
