little bit of thread merging going on...
Was great to see you boys, appreciate the trip invites, let me know plans and id like to come on one this year!
However, in the spirit of balance....... And at the risk of alienating anyone. I think we both didn't handle the Asian guy as well as we could have. Both of us are much better at the tables than in the past, this is for sure. But I think you snapped pretty quickly last night. We did both calm down really quickly tho so i think it was more just a shock/ surprised reaction from us.
Neither of us were to know its his usual MO to come to the table and deliberately rile people up. But once we have that nugget of Info it does make our reactions laughable.
I'll be honest, I though PJ's little comment didn't help the situation, as I said at the time. But Iwas just so shocked that he (Asian guy) would say those things that i just jumped into default defensive mode which apparently didn't calm the situation down either.
A small but continuing lesson i feel....

I got overpaid by a casino recently by £100 and never said a word, don't mind admitting that, I'm no angel, but this colluding nonsense is just total bollocks.
This is terrible because afaik the cashiers have to take it on the chin. Certainly read that on 2+2
I read on the internet that Notts Forest will have Messi signed by Christmas.

The objective of my comment wasn't to 'help'. It was more to outline the fact that the guy was a massive douche. Stato went to the toilet so I felt he needed to know

I know mate, but when the guy is still there..
It wasn't classy, pretty, appropriate or fair.
You could so easily have text him or whispered it.

Alex I must have missed the photo in your video of you all sitting around the breakfast table, tucking into a big bowl of Cheat-a-bix.

How you handle these things is just as important as the fact you are not cheating imo.
In my experieence most of the time people do this they don't actually think you are cheating they are often just pissed cos you're losing or like the controversy. It's the reaction from you they are looking for more than anything.
I remember getting accused of cheating at DTD in a hand with Willie Tann when I decided to not to bet his last £45 into a £2,400 pot on the river - he said I was "keeping him in the game" because we were obviously "playing together" was obviously a totally ridiculous comment IDK exactly what his motive was but I mostly ignored him.
He later asked me if me and Linton "knew each other" because we'd been "giving each other looks" all night lol - just rspond quietly and calmly imo and treat it as ridic as it is.

Well there clearly will be some punishment for the person responsible for their honest mistake.

What did PJ say?
This tilts me so hard btw, guess i'd be a perfect victim for the guy to rile up!
But as lil D says the best way is to be nice and answer politely, this will annoy him much more than you kicking off.

After a sweet double victory for the DTD Degens, went to DTD for a 1/2 game, which was really fun.
Getting in a £1.2k hole in the first hour wasn't - suffered a nasty equity beat vs Kurt with losing an 85/15 for £1k, then he went for a fag, came back and immediately stacked me again, with AA vs my K9spades on a cold QJxAJ with three spades.
Boshi helped me out of it with a lucky river where I had
on a
board, called £60 and the pinged the lovely disguised
on the river and happily called his £210 all-in wager.
Someone was adequately punished when he limped
under the £8 straddle, called my £35 iso, and tried to tarp me on a
board, when I backed into a flush
So had two bits of bad luck, two bits of good luck and ended up about level.
Done some damage to my car today though, when trying to do a good deed by taking Denise, our cleaner, home because it was raining. Forgot I hadn't put my contact lenses in and didn't bother going back inside to do so when I realised because it's only a 5 minute journey and thought it'd be alright. It was dark and wet, so poor conditions anyway, and got adequately punished by running over a traffic bollard that I just didn't see at all
Probs geeged a few hundred quid to realign the axle and replace the front right wheel sighhhh. What a tit.

Maybe he'd heard of your reputation from leicester....?
Seems pretty strange to kick off at someone for accusing you of doing something you've done previously?

If it's the wheel arch, would prove costly on a BMW, depends what type you have, but know they are not cheap, more like a couple of grand.
Merry Xmas Alex and happy new year, hope 2013 is an even better year for you x
