Yay, we finally have a result. Thread has been one big slowroll Lol, this!! Unlucky though, I have done that before as well - as soon as I make a decision, I know it was the wrong one! I just decided to take as long as I need to make my decisions from then on, and it definitely has improved my thinking process and my overall decisions.

It's called tournament variance.
But some people have clearly worked on this part of their game. I need some lessons on how to run good!

most gtd now come with a minimium number of runners
so the number of runners wasnt met so neither was the gtd
That always tilts me. Guaranteed money is only guaranteed if enough runners turn up to make the guarantee. What sort of guarantee is that? the international made the mistake of guarenting a sat with 10 seats and forgot to set a minimium number of runners only 8 people turned up and after a little debate they gave everyone a seat Well done The International. thats casino in aberdeen not the cardroom in london Ah, I see. Either way, any cardroom that sticks to it's word deserves a big pat on the back! So does the first farmer to breed a flying cow. I guess so. Cardrooms sticking to their word is a bigger feat imo. Sigh.... I sniggered Tom Does this mean you deserve a pat on the back too Claire? Claire, my reply to Tom was a joke! As was mine to yours! I wasn't being sarcastic to you!

If there is a talking point in this hand it's hero's turn bet. Why did you bet the turn Blatch? I mean it's very unlikely the result of this hand is going to change from turn to river. So is the bet to scare away 7-8, or is the bet for info to find out where you stand? Both would be bollox reasons to bet imo. And you're not betting to bluff. The information about button going to raise and then flatting is already banked so even thou you know he's strong enough you still bet. So why did you bet? The only reason you bet was to get chips into the pot. So having successfully got your wish there is abs no decision to be made here imo. The reason you flat the flop is to disguise your hand and prompt a spaz from someone. Hey presto. On this dry board you can possibly check the turn if you fear button but once you decide to bet you commit imo and all this talk about you can now fold because he knows you know something etc is stoopid.
what a great post. clear and logical. Agree with this post. You're never betting to bluff here, but once you have and villain has spazzed, call and say unlucky to your opponent.

The tour sounds good, but not a massive fan of the 'satellite only' entry. Even just a few seats offered to the public would have been nice.
Each Venue will hold a 5 Seat Super Satellite. Hear what you say on Satellite Only Entry, but it's a no-brainer. PS - That did not mean to sound as rude as it does, but you get my drift! Yep, I understand tikay. I'm always pushing for more satellites into events, but I also like to know that I can always buy-in to an event if I am not one of the lucky ones. Tour does sound good though, and hopefully I can bink a seat or two!
