Peter, are you concerned at all that you may have some bias towards Force India? You seem to tip them regularly each season and I think you mentioned before there was some sort of connection with the team either now or previously.

I'm confident you are very knowledgeable about the sport, but it's tough to be clinical with assessment when you're a fan. Just check out some of the football posts on here!

(will back your man to get a points finish regardless btw Smiley )

Good question. That's something I'm always considering when making a suggestion. However my bets are purely data driven which makes bias rather impossible. A lot of the bets are Force India centric because that's where the value is - over the last few seasons they've been consistently out-performing the bookies expectations.

For the record, I am a Force India fan, and also the World's leading expert on Indian Motorsport. You could look at it a number of ways though because I also worked for Williams for a while, and have done contract work for Renault Sport F1 and Manor (now defunct) too.

Good enough for me. Love all the stats stuff and race simulation etc

Esteban Ocon Bahrain Grand Prix Points Finish
9/4
Total Stake: £40.00
Potential Returns: £130.00

cannot do the practice one bet, betstars only

Esteban Ocon Bahrain Grand Prix Top 6 Finish
14/1
Total Stake: £10.00
Potential Returns: £150.00

2.36 on betfair Hamilton first practice.  11/10 Stars now

Didn't come off sadly, Mercedes decided to go with a new bizarre strategy of running which messed up the bet, P10 for Lewis in FP1.

It's showing on oddschecker but isn't actually available. Same deal with Stars earlier. Oddschecker is nowhere near as reliable as a few months ago.

All the money in the Posh-Fleetwood game on Good Friday has been for the home team. Crazy scenes.

£50 on Fleetwood @ 2-1, and £20 on Fleetwood-Fleetwood, Half-FT @ 4-1 please.

SCOOPIO?

Yuh, never in doubt. Could have been four or five at half-time. Fleetwood never really had to come out of second gear but did look a bit twitchy under pressure second half and I wouldn't be backing them in the play-offs any time soon.

Bug going round the Posh camp to go with the can't-be-arsed attitude and terrible manager. Three kids started too as expected. Tbf a couple of them were as good as any of ours.

a couple of updates

- the e/w part of the 50-1 Fleetwood bet is going to the wire

3 games to go

3rd Fleetwood 75 points goal difference +19
4th Bradford 75 points goal difference +19
5th Scunthorpe 73 points goal difference +21

fleetwood's run in is millwall (h) gillingham (a) port vale (h)

- a good combination of results in the championship (blackburn won at forest, burton lost at home to ipswich) has brought Burton back towards the relegation places, chunky outright bet and second part of a double too

Forest 45 points -11
Burton 45 points -15
----
Blackburn 43 points -15
Wigan  40 points -15

burton run in

birmingham (a)
leeds (h)
barnsley (a)
reading  (h)

two difficult home games those with both opponents trying to hold off sheff wed and fulham for play off spots

I was thinking that too

Definitely not rushing to back Villa at evens with nothing to play for , whereas Reading defending play off position @100-30 seems a fair price

Indeed. Although the next race is Russia where track temperatures are traditionally extremely low rather than extremely high, which is what we see in Bahrain. It'll be interesting to see how that changes the pecking order.

I'm a swans fan but I think Watford at 7/4 today is huge.
We have been really poor of late especially away from home and Watfords home record is very good. Think bookies are over reacting to Watford being comfortable in mid table
Hope I'm wrong obv

A very mixed up FP3 session in Bahrain, albeit with considerably higher track temperatures than we'll see in qualifying. There's certainly going to be some value out there, will check the markets in an hour or so when the market re-forms Smiley
