Sums up today for me, I could only get 40s with Betfred and the bald wanker would only lay me £4

interesting lads are still laying 11-2 No Nay Never in the Norfolk tommorow (been smashed in everywere else)
trainer has said all the time this is his best and quickest, his 20-1 shot lead everywhere but the line today and the speed figures of No Nay Never are miles better
I am sure he will lead and 11-2 looks more than fair

Quite excited.
Two tracker horses at v nice prices for tomorrow
4.25 Red Avenger 40s generally
Ran in the Silver Bowl at Haydock and the write up doesn't reflect the race I saw. It certainly wasnt "pushed along 3f out, weakened one out" I saw more of a "squeezed when starting a challenge, stayed on when race over, never nearer" And I am not even talking through my pocket. Maybe thats why he is 40s. Great!!
5.35 Royal Skies 12s In the notebook after it won a race at Ponte. Two words. "Royal Ascot". Needed a penalty to get in and since been bumped a heavy 13lbs but won again off new mark last week very nicely , and looks like the annual Johnstone RA winner to me. Always seems to get an improver here in top form.
Also impressed by Riposte in the second. Needs to make up over a stone on the ratings, but fancy it can, and would love to see a Cecil winner.

People getting on your tips already probably know, but just incase - worth doing red avenger at betvictor with their promo. Hughes on the fav for the race and if he places (top 5) and red avenger loses then you get your money back.
Any worries about the forcast rain Adz?

Both only run on soft ground on their first ever runs mate. Neither beaten too far, so hard to draw any conclusions.
Would be less worried by Royal S, as has a lovely round action.
Just seen RS is also declared for the Queens Vase on Friday.....

What does this mean for its chances tomorrow? My horse racing knowledge is limited. If the ground doesn't suit tomorrow it will go non runner and go for friday?

Honestly not sure Ali. He has a few entries in both and I can only assume because RS ran last week, they may feel he may need the extra day to get over his exertions. He may of course be that good he can win both

Fair enough, my money is down already anyway so whatever will be will be. Last note for those looking to back red avenger, drifted to 50/1 in two spots, and luckily one of those is betvictor (the other is bet365) where imo its best to back him with the money back as a free bet offer if hughes places on the fav wentworth.

Good news on RA. Longer the better.
Not too worried about RS. He sure aint using tomorrow as a tee up race for Friday, so if he runs he's trying. If he doesn't -money back!

Had a great afternoon at Hamilton with the racing there and Ascot on the big screen. They start the longer races in front of the stands so you can get this view Click to see full-size image. |
