dott had enough

smash em

yes, almost the perfect frame there, score 30, put em all safe, wait for other guy to lose his rag and then out up another 30 odd to win it.

reminds me of the old guy who played for our local division 2 side every thursday

he had been playing for at least 50 years and basically kept on playing until the bitter end . Towards the end he could not pot for toffee but knew every "angle" and safety in the book.

he always without fail played the young kiddie on the other side who was just starting out and was a decent player but was not prepared for a two hour frame

good memories

Proper frame of snooker that, no bish bash bosh potting, just great balance between defence and attack.

More snooker like that please.

Its been a great match if you like proper snooker hasn't it. Even the shots/pots with safety in mind are so well crafted

I know someone, but he is reluctant to talk about it.   Bit like me with my bets.

Did you realise The Eagle has gone odds on, best price 8/11?  No idea on the viewing figures yet, but 2/1 is still available on that 2nd series.

Robertson a justified favourite I think

Classic old school snooker tonight. Love the scrappy tactical stuff, the angles and the snookers.

Selby's temperament proved a bit tougher than Dott's in the end

Totally agree.

I felt sorry for Dotty tonight whom I have great admiration for as he just had nothing left to give in the end.
