This fella - below - was playing the tournament;
http://abc7.com/
$15-million-payout-for-man-wrongfully-imprisoned-for-27-years/2681233/
Wrongfully convicted of murder, he spent 27 years in prison, before his conviction was overturned. He sued the LA Sheriffs Department, & was awarded damages of..... $15 million.
He seemed pretty happy with how things had turned out.

Whilst playing in Binions yesterday, a fella wandered past the table who made me gasp. I mean, he was THE tallest bloke I have ever seen in my life.
A few heads turned, & several players commented upon Mr Tall, & it turned out he was well-known for his tallness.
His name is George Bell, & he suffers from something called gigantism.
Here's his wiki page;
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Bell_(basketball
)
If you cba to read that, the cliffs are he is 7 foot 8 inches tall.
He used to be the tallest bloke in the USA, but he's been relegated to 2nd tallest now, as he is over 60, & old people shrink.
Here's George.

7 foot 8 is nothing.
Robert Wadlow was 8 foot 11.
That's his 6 foot dad next to him.
Adam Rainer from Austria (well, would have been Austro-Hungary back then) was 3 foot 7 at 18 then grew to 7 foot 2 at 32. He's the only man recorded to have been both a dwarf and a giant.

I couldn't earn $15 million in 25 years but I think I'd take 25 years of my life over a $15 million settlement any day.
Is there any amount someone would take to spend 25 years in prison willingly?

The tall guy reminds me of one night in the Bentley hotel in Lincoln, went to see local comedian Sid Dennis
In the middle of his act a tall geezer stood up to leave the room and he said "Aye up mate don't walk pass the pool table cos some f**ker might chalk you"

How good is that?
Looks like an incred trip, but we have a more pressing issue of
'Curt'
Cobain.
I thought "Curt" was rather apt, kind even. What a tosser.
Duff McCagan, on the other hand, is the nuts, living ledge.
Nevermind.
Deserves so much more

It looks incredible. Always jealous of your trips away from Vegas.
Well done on getting the 66% rake gag through though, with out anyone questioning it

I couldn't do it for £100m. I couldn't do it for any amount of money in fact.

Just tried to get me a latte at both Starbies, each of which had lines stretching out of the door.
So wandered down Fremont Street and found a shop selling latte, yes please. Complete waste of time, piss would be warmer, and probably taste better.
Weird, Starbies here never used to have such huge lines.

Don't recall it having lines like those pictures when I go, but I'm not normally bowling about the wrong side of lunchtime
