Dubai had 32k at the Dinner Break. The last hand before Dinner he was on 50k+ and lost a big pot to Hellmuth. On the turn Dubai had a flush, Hellmuth two pair, needless to say Hellmuth hit his 4-outer on the river Angry

Cheers Rob, wish him luck from me for the rest of the comp... muffed by Negreanu and now muffed by hellmuth... It HAS to change.

$5,000 6-H

During the break, el blondie expressed his shock at the demise of Jo Awada, a player who he holds in very high esteem.

Flop was K-T-rag

MB had raised preflop with tens, and Joe had called with K-Q

MB bets out, Jo raised, and MB reraised (!!), Jo then moved him all-in.

"What did he think he had??" remarked Dave.

Bumped into George Danzer who's not been having the greatest tournament series so far, and he said that Awada finally took him out when he moved tables (his first one being no less challenging, having Matusow, Bruno Fitoussi, Johansen and two other famous people on it).  It looked at that point that Joe Awada couldn't be stopped...just shows how in this format of game especially it can turn around in the shortest of moments.

$2,500 PL

John 'Decision' Hansmeyer is still in there too. He doubled up not too long ago when his A-K held up against Mateyboy's K-Q.

First wsop comp too, nice going!

Short-handed players Joe Beevers and Tony G, sat side by side - just wanted to catch them before they're moved (I overheard that they were breaking that table next)

And John 'EPT' Duthie, looking focused and with a healthy top 20% sort of stack.  Seen him in this position fairly recently (remember the extraordinary triple flush triple up at the Paris WPT??)

It looks a little like the massage lady might be an undercover cop booking Tony G (hands behind your back, face on the table)...
