As the ranks of players decrease, those of the press swell, and now the hallways look to be the scene for many a TV interview with the collected top selection of players gathered here to play their second day of the EPT...

We're just taking turns checking on whether any action is happening yet - saw Nick Gibson in the queue for the Casino ticket (which one needs, apparently, in order to gain admittance to the downstairs area of the Gran Casino) and he's "not quite awake yet."

Willie Tann is an early casualty.

Tens v Sixes

6 on the River

He looks rather bemused.

Luca Pagano has just been eliminated.

I passed him in the hallway and asked the vital question. He gave a gentle nod and didn't look like retelling the story just yet.

Blinds are currently at 600 and 1,200 with a running ante of 100

A tasty 691k in spondoolies for the winner.

Congratulations and thanks to all having a sneaky peek at the updates wherever you may be...

The action here is bonkers - every time you look up there's someone making an exit - at least two tables have gone already and the walk to the press room on the other side of the casino takes up, I'm sure, at least another couple busts.  Hopefully it will slow down a bit in this level (blinds 600/1,200, ante 100) and we can actually get some detail...

Oh the wonders of the Re-draw - the two chip leaders have been sat on the same table - Dan Pedersen and Ilari Sahamie.  The rest of them aren't exactly tiny stacks, so in total their table's chip count is nearly 400,000!  This means that other tables are totally staffed with small stacks, and they are getting busy busting half out, doubling the other half up...

How about this for a suprise stack? 86,000 in total!

And all prised (well, gifted) from the same guy.

A rather loosey goosey player joined JP's table, only to go straight into ultra-agressive mode.

The new arrival raised preflop and JP called with A-J.

JP then bet 5k on a J-A-T flop, Mateyboy called.

The Turn cme a 5 and JP bet again, this time 8k. To his joy, Mateyboy moved all-in and JP called instantly.

Mateyboy had a rather flimsy Q-J. Fortunately, the King failed to arrive, giving JP a much needed double-up.

And then, with JP holding Q-Q, his new found friend shoved in the remainder of his chips in with Pocket Sevens. Funnily enough, JP called and, as a result, is now up there with the chip leaders.

Awesome stuff, but what out for Lodden who is sitting quietly across the table. Could be explosive...

Check this table out - somehow it's not the feature table (yes, the little stage and TV cameras are out and whirring) yet probably should be... nicely chipped up and full of recognisables.  Peter Roche has a very problematic back (and hasn't been playing live for a good while) and the wooden chairs don't look the most comfortable on earth.  I hope it's not too distracting (he's one of my picks).

Stevic   Alexander   63900
Osberstrom   Andres   47800
Lisandro   Jeff   34600
Roche   Peter   42400
Perrault   Pascal   32500

Davenport   James   18000
Can   Fuat   41000
Woodley   Ian   46700

No chance for demises as they were too late to get in!  I've seen more wistful poker players watching the first few days here than at any other EPT - I think the other tourneys running tomorrow and Sunday will be packed to the rafters too.

I'm afraid that's a bok, he's just done most of his stack with Pocket Kings and is down to 29,500.

Matt raised 4.6k preflop (from seat 2), only to find a caller in the Big Blind.

As the dealer slammed down the A-J-4 flop, Matt confidentally bet 7.5k.

To his surprise, Mateyboy then made it 15k.

In what was either a rush of blood or a 'I sense weakness' play, Matt moved all-in, only to be called instantly by his opponent who had A-J.

No King arrived and Matt's chip stack has been demolished.

Johnny Lodden appears to be in confident mood, he's just raised the blinds 3 times in a row, each time for 4.8k, and each time he won the pot uncontested.

As a result, he is now on 82,000

Typical style of double up for Stephen Pearce - he raised on the button and the Scandinavian player on his left (therefore on the small blind) moved in, for a lot - more, in fact than Stephen had.  A think and then a slap of the whole stack as he announced loudly, "OK!  I call!" showing Ad Jc, but only after his opponent had revealed his 9d 9h.  "I hoped you had something like that," says Pearce, and then stands up, as a little crowd forms.
Flop:  Jh 8h 5d  "I wanted it on the river, not the flop!" says Pearce.
Turn and river:  8d Aspades and as he collects his double up he turns to big TK and says, "From 7 to 77!"  receiving a quip from a bystander, "What, your age?"

Here he is, pictured saying "I get inside their minds" (can't you just hear it) while the player sat on his left waves goodbye to a lot of his stack.

Just witnessed a monster outdraw in which Holland's Peter Vlemmix (picutured below) chewed up his opponent's Aces and spat them out at is face.

I joined the action on the flop, which read 8d Jd 2h

Vlemmix had moved all-in pre-flop, leaving two Mateyboys (one of whom can be seen standing up on the left hand side of the picture) to battle it out.

The decision was down to a Spaniard, who claims he folded A-J, which, if true, was an excellent release as the other chap in the hand had Pocket Aces.

There must have been a re-raise and a call to go along with Vlemmix's all-in, because the pot was pretty chunky come the flop, especially considering that Vlemmix had the rather vulnerable hand of 6-5 off.

But it wasn't vulnerable by the River as the next two cards came 4 and 3.

Ouch!

I am afraid that Matt Tyler has busted, now, following the chip loss brought on by the Kings - he moved in with Tc Jc, but this time found Aces behind him.  It can be so quick, this game...  Well played all day yesterday, and then a couple of huge pots and out.

Here's why the feature table is what it is - a late-arriving Phil Ivey (probably having to shake off journalists as he made his way to the table).  There are some stands there from which to watch the action, and I might see if I can get some better shots.

Late Night Poker fave Jin Cailin has just been eliminated by his nextdoor neighbour (pictured below)

On a flop of 7d 7c 3h, it went bet, raise, all-in, call.

Cailin, who made the initial flop bet had Pocket Sixes, but they were no match for his opponent's Cowboys which held up.

Tony 'Ribena Berry' Chessa is struggling today.

He just uum-ed and aah-ed about moving it in from the big blind to a 4k pre-flop raise, but he thought better of it.

He needs to make a move soon as he's only got 17,700 with blinds at 800/1600

Table Move for Climber of the Morning (at least) JP:

He's pictured packing up his 93,000 and moving - so now instead of being opposite Johnny Lodden (with whom he says he was vying for the Table Tilter's chips) he's right next to him.  I have a weird feeling that one of them will end up with a very large stack indeed, at some point, courtesy of the other... I hope not though as they're both suitable Feature Tablists/Finalists, although if pushed I hope JP gets them because Snoopy picked Lodden in his Top Three.

It's always good to see a stonecold bluff shown, especially when it's to give someone a rub down.

And this is what happened when Marcus Golser bet 2k on a flop of Qd Ad 5h

Mateyboy next door made it 5.6k and Golser folded, only to greeted by a rather lack-lustre Th 9h

Here's a pic of Bernie 'Sandino' Stoddart, who is also playing for Blue Square. He's on Gus Hansen's table and is not scared to take him on. He's up to 65,000 now having returned with just over 30,000.

Just the one Irish hope left... Mr Andrew Black - not a bad one to have.

Johnny Lodden makes a good value bet with Pocket Eights on a Q-6-Q-2-7 board. He bet 7k on the Turn and 9k on the River. Both bets were called. He looks like a real threat now.

During the 10 minute break, chat with JP - in the last half hour he's managed to climb to 120k (or something) and then double up Chessa, dropping to 95,000 again:

He raised to 4,500 with Kc Jc on the cutoff, and found Tony re-raising from the small blind to 11,000 (leaving himself just 6,500 back).  Instead of alarm bells ringing, JP told himself it was just as likely to be A9 or something, and flat called, calling again when Chessa pushed on the 9 x x flop.  It had one club on it, after all... Anyway, he was shown Ahrt Aspades, and saved the Purple One from extinction.

Then he got some back, after raising with AJ and receiving a swiftish caller whom he put on a middle pair.  Flop: 3 4 5 and he decided to call the 4,000 which was bet, was rewarded by a Jack on the turn and after checking that, he bet the 3 river to the tune of 5k and was called by Matey's Tens.

Just heard that Gus Hansen doubled up with Ahrt Td, all-in against Brigitta Johansen (I think)'s Jc Js.  He hit both the Ace and the Ten, and now has chips to push around again.

I'm afraid you've lost another - Ben Grundy has been knocked out by JP - all in preflop with Ac Qd against JP's Aspades Ks.  The flop brought K Q 7, but I think it was a flush which ended up sending him to the rail.

In fact, just pipping Gardner for the chip lead is Norwegian sensation Johnny Lodden who just eliminate another opponent.

After a standard preflop raise, Lodden re-raised to 21k, only to be met by an all-in raise behind him

Although the dealer got the amount wrong no less than 3 times, we eventually learnt that it would cost Lodden 35k, a call whic he did indeed make after mulling it over for a few moments.

A-K v 4-4 with an A--6-8-3-Q board

Lodden marches on.

Robin Keston is sitting next to Frenchman Paul Testud, on the same table as JP, Johnny Lodden and Tony Chessa.  I'm standing nearby chatting to Mickey Wernick and Robin comes over and says

"They shouldn't allow him to play, he stinks"

to which Mickey instantly replies

"Garlic?"

"No, B.O" says Robin, "Plain old fashioned dirt"

Title: Re: BARCELONA EPT: DAY 2 INTERACTIVE LIVE UPDATE
Post by: Djinn on September 15, 2006, 08:15:39 PM
Yes, play has indeed restarted - but first, a little side story from the rather unfortunate Greice Yamaguchi - erstwhile Gutshot dealer and world traveller:

She won a satellite for this event online, but agreed to sell it to Praz, and take her chances in a live satellite over here - the transfer was taking some time but it looked like it would go through eventually.  So far so good.  But when she found herself with a big stack with 28 players remaining in the live sat (20 seats available), Thomas Kremser made an announcement at that time that those who already had a seat would have to take €5,000 in cash and leave the tournament!  So Greice had to get up, and her stack was removed from the table (which can't have been good for the other players).  She made a fuss along the lines of "I've already promised my seat I qualified for to someone else, so I don't actually have a seat" but it was not to be.  €10k in cash, but she doesn't get to play the comp she came out here for, and is withdrawing from the side events in protest.

Never heard of anything like this - an eleventh hour withdrawal of players already qualified from a satellite - haven't heard TK's side of it but it sounds unorthodox... Has anyone else?

"What have you got?"

At least you didn't say, "that easy..."

Anyway, back on the Feature Table, which has a full set of stands round it now so it's hard to see what's going on - there was a pretty big hand.  A raise to 11,500, followed by not one, but two over-the-top all-ins.  One was what sounded like 'Ford' and the other was Ivey.  After a suitable dwell the original raiser threw his hand away, and it was an Ad Ks (Ford(?)) and Qh Qc (Ivey) match-up.
Flop:  Ac 9s 5c
Turn:  Qd  (at which I distinctly noticed a raised eyebrow from Phil, who ended the hand smiling)
River: Jh

So down one player - who will they bring to fill the gap?  Oh yes, it's random...

After JP's A7 v Kings hand, the Amercian who took it off him was celebrating with his mates and said, rather snidely

"A-7?...I should play in Europe more often"

Anyway, in the next hand JP raised from mid position and Paul Testud on the bb called.  There were two jacks on the flop, which Paul bet. JP folded and was down to 25k.

A few hands later JP moved in with 99 in the small blind. Lodden, in the bb called with A-5. Nines held and JP is back to 50k.

Marcus Golser is OUT.

Most of his chips went to this young chap (who looks like he should have been in EMF).

Golser bet 20k on a board of Kh Tc 8d 4c, only for EMFboy and his tilted cap to move all-in.

As it was only a few more extra, Golser called and showed his K-J, only to be met by an 8-4 (two pair) which held up come the River, leaving Golser to exclaim, "You're unbelievable!"

Down to just 11,000, highroller Golser departed shortly after.

Well, he gets some back with a very nice call on the river, for a pot already holding c.20k:
Board: 6h 7c Ad 2d 4d

He's facing an 8,000 bet from Matey, and counts it out from his diminished stack... and calls with Th Tc.  And wins.   ;topman;

Huge elimination News Now -

Gus Hansen presses the Red Button, somehow getting it all in preflop with Qd Th against Kc Ks... this pot isn't peanuts, either, it's over 200k!

Board comes: Aspades 9d Kd Td 6s, and the three-deep crowd part to let Gus make his exit (a little annoyed with himself, it looked like).

Well, when you've got 465,000 with just 70 something player left, you may just have the lead.

His recent elimination was that of his neighbour who had 8-8 vs Allesandro's A-T on a Ten high flop.

Is the average not about 65k?!?!

He must be average for last 10?

Someone tell Paul Parker to get it won!

Here are a couple of photos from behind and in front of the cameras on the Feature Table.  You might just be able to pick out Stephen Pearce in his green V-neck, and doesn't the guy watching from the rail look like he's making that Rock-On sign with his hand, only can't be bothered to lift his arm up?

Some quotes for you:

JP (referring to his A-7) -- "Fishy move. He'd just folded to Szeremeta the hand before, and he seemed weak again. He raised 10k and I just announced all-in, confident that he'd fold. But then he asked if I had Aces. Because he took so long, I though he had Tens or Jacks and was considering folding, but then he turned over Kings. I'm back up to 50k now though after doubling up with pocket nines."

Nottingham Nick -- "Just doubled up after getting an endless run of 2-4, 3-7 and so on. For the first time ever I've been getting blinded away. But then I found A-K and A-T callled. Ten on the flop, but then I hit my King and am now on 34k. At least I don't have to worry about stick my entire stack in on my Big Blind now.

Fatmarra (Paul Moss): 12 beers please barman

JP Kelly is braced to hit our TV screens.

He's about to enter the feature table.

I somehow managed to convince him that he needed to head over quickly so he could get his make-up done before the break ended.

Well, with 49 players left, it appears as though they've blocked us off.

So, with my going back and forth to the press-room, I always return to the hustle and bustle of the onlooking crowd, meaning that the randoms have a better view than I do.

That aside, I did manage to obtain 4 chip counts:

Nick Gibson -- 25,000
Andreas Hagen -- 110,000
Stephen Pearce -- 155,000
Phil Ivey -- 115,000

And I noticed that the blinds were 2000/4000 (400) with an average stack of 97,939

Title: Re: BARCELONA EPT: DAY 2 INTERACTIVE LIVE UPDATE

And Nick Gibson sidles up as I'm watching the feature table - saying, "I hate the bubble," and near enough, he's hit it:

Most of the damage was done when he called a small blind's auto-all-in with his Ks 8s, and found 9c 4d against him (the pot was a total of 30k).  A nine popped out on the river, and then soon thereafter he made a stand with Q 10 and found 77 against him; despite a K J x flop, he failed to improve and is now just hanging out, like us.

"These updates are all well and good, snoopy, but what about the nationalities??" I hear you cry.

Well fear not, I have those vital stats for you now:

The top 5 are as follows:

Sweden -- 103 (22%)
Great Britain -- 70 (14%)
Norway -- 45 (9%)
France -- 42 (9%)
United States -- 37 (8%)

It's their homeland but only 19 (4%) turned up for Spain

On a sidenote, we have single representatives from Ukraine, Iran, Grecia, Costa Rica, Brazil, Israel, Poland, Portugal, Macedonia, Venezuela, Argentina and, best of all,... Kazakstan (although it's not Borat, sadly)

The feature table has been fattened again:

It's now:

John x
Paul Testud
David Plastik
Nick Szeremeta
JP Kelly
Johnny Lodden
Phil Ivey
Ross x      (sorry for lack of 2 surnames)

Just watched it for a while, seeing as we can't get to the other tables - JP and Johnny are playing a little more than most (or were, before the addition of Ivey).  A couple of examples:

The first flop on the new TV table was seen by those two - small blind limp from JP, check from Johnny.  8d 3h 3d.  JP checks, Johnny bets 6k, call.
Turn:  6d  Check-check
River: Kd  Check-check.   JP turns over the surprise (winning) hand of AK and says, "I forgot to raise."

Then the next hand, JP raises on the button, Johnny calls.  Flop:  Jd Kc 8s  Check-check.
Turn:  Johnny bets out 16,000.  JP calls.
River:  Qh  Johnny quickly announces "all-in" and it looks like a real self countdown is going on, but he passes, sending his tricky neighbour a wry grin.

And on that note, we've reached the final 45, with everyone going home with some spondoolies.

The xenaphobes out there will be pleased to hear that it was two Frenchman who took the last 2 places. Whilst Paul Testud fell in 47th, it was left to a fellow simply named Hubert (his surname escapes me) to take the unwanted bubble spot.

Round of applause for Paul Parker, who despite the Media Ban has been sprinting over to where I've stood at the rail to send me interesting bits of information:

Like, Les Kerrigan just doubled up to 44,000+ with Kc Qs against Kd Td...

Chip leader is Jeff Lisandro with around 420,000

Noah Boeken was just all-in (uncalled) for his whole 80k stack

Paul himself is now on 70,000

 ;mexicanwave;  for Mr. Parker!

Stephen Pearce, even though his audience is restricted to behind the barriers, still gave an almighty shout when moving all-in: "It's my moment!"
Then rather surprisingly, we heard Ian Woodley shouting right behind him, "We know about his moment, what about my moment - I'm all in!"  I couldn't see the first inch of the flop or anyone's hands, but the net result is that we are down one Stephen Pearce.

Snoopy and I are down to one pick each - Johnny Lodden and Andreas Hagen respectively.

With the blinds at 3000/6000, Noah Boaken moves all-in for 83k and, somehow, manages to find a call from K-T (?!)

Forget hammer time, this is brown pants time!

But Boaken breathes a sigh of relief as his Ace high stands up, taking his count up to the 170k mark.

Nigh on impossible to see anything now through the crowd, just trying to get any info I can.

Lodden -- 165k
Kerrigan -- 35k
Gardner -- 195k
Paul Parker -- 50k

Recent Mateyboy exiter was moaning about his opponent calling his 100k all-in (Q-Q) with A-K and, obviously, hitting one of those overcards.

Noah Boaken has eliminated another player with A-K vs 6-5, King on flop sealed the deal.

Andreas Hagen is eliminated, moving in preflop with Aspades Jd (he had only 40k) and finding a caller in Ulle who had something and a King (my Norwegian gave out at this point; I was trying to eavesdrop on my neighbour reporters).  Anyway, Hagen came out on the wrong side of this last hand, and we're down to just four tables.

The table he just left is the one with JP, Les Kerrigan, Ulle, Marga Gonzalez and Ilari Sahamie on it - pretty interesting.  Ilari just had a nasty bit of luck calling an all-in preflop with his Qh Qc and finding 2c 2d against him.  A pesky Deuce was out on the flop (I knew this mainly from the hissing intake of breath of the rest of the table) and Ilari got up and threw his cards across the table in disgust...

A little more on this courtesy of JP:  he said Roland had raised with AJ, and faced a big all-in re-raise from the guy with A9.  It was a big call for him to make, but he made it, correctly, and was rewarded for this with a nice outdraw.

Thankfully, they've created another rail in front of the onlookers to which the press are able to use unhampered by everyone else. This is great news as it means we can actually see the action now.

Big up to John Duthie for this. I suggested this idea a while back and he seems to have taken note (although I doubt it was because of me).

K-Q vs the spculative hand of J-4s, which hit a second Jack on the flop.

Paul Parker is OUT -

He moved all in once on the feature table (they've got it going again, perhaps because soon there won't be enough players left to feature) without a caller, but when it folded to his small blind, he moved his short stack all-in (as you do) with 8h 8d.  The big blind, Noah Boeken, woke up with Aspades Ahrt, however, and the board brought only this:  Js Qh 3d 5h Ts.  Sorry Flushy.

Huge hand (also taking place between the blinds) this time between Per (Strom? we think he's Swedish) and Johnny Lodden.  Again, Per raised in the small blind, just a normal raise, however, as he wasn't at all short stacked.  Pretty quickly Johnny just went, "all-in" - a sizeable overbet as his stack, when counted, was 174,800.

A tortured pause, and a surprise call from the small blind - who showed Ahrt Jd - it looked like one of those annoyed calls, when unwilling to be pushed off by a notorious mover...

The result - a board of 2s Jh Ts 7d 8h and a cheer from the Lodden supporters, and, narrowly, an elimination for Per.  His place on the TV table has been taken by Mark Boudewijn...

Here's One I Shot Earlier:

Also currently Featured is Javed Abrahams, railed by Praz, James Akenhead, Karl etc.  This kind of back-of-the-head shot was the best I could get at the time, but I'm going to do that sneaky thing where you photograph the monitors when the cameras are on the player... He was apparently up to over 240,000 a short while ago, but currently sits with 170k.

Just caught up with Paul who departed in 26th position...

"I won't be going home thinking I could have done this or I should have played that differently. I did what I could and, on that last hand, I have no regrets. Even if someone had raised before me I still would have pushed. After Boaken called a while back with K-4, I wasn't too concerned about him calling, but I certainly never expected Aces. 11k's better than a kick in the teeth, but in the EPTs you need to win more than that to survive. 5k a time will kill you too quickly unless you get lucky. If I'm entering a comp like this, I'm looking at a 6 figure reward and will be disappointed with less..."

Paul talked for another 2 hours after this, but my hands are hurting...

Just as I'm bigging up the ept boys for giving us a press rail away from the onlookers, they go and remove it after a paltry 30 mins or so by moving two tables over across the room in a much more awkward-to-view location.

Bah, humbug.  ;smackedbottom;

Anyhow, I've managed barge my way through the crowd to get a few chip-counts from the table pictured below...

Joachim Geigerts -- 365,000
Ian Woodley -- 95,000
Johnny Lodden -- 340,000
Noah Boaken -- 240,000
G Sjoberg -- 70,000
Julian Gardner -- 210,000

Just spoke to a downbeat JP Kelly, clearly disappointed with his untimely exit. Although he won €11,500, it's nowhere near what he was hoping for, especially when he had enough chips to force his way into the big money. He was never billy big stack, but he had a decent chance.

He also informed me that the crucial hand came just before his exit. His pre-flop button raise with J-J was re-raised all-in by the Big Blind, JP called and saw that he was in a coinflip situation, up against K-Q.

Board = A-4-6-T-J

Ouch

I'm finding it increasingly difficult to observe Phil Ivey's table, it's tucked away in the corner and there are several big cash game tables in the way, not to mention all the onlookers.

I could see Roland's stack though as he was facing my direction. A brisk count came to the sum of 210,000, a very playable stack considering he was down to just to 30,000 a level or two back due to an A-J vs A-9 outdraw.

Go rolandinho!  ;mexicanwave;

Found another Englishman... Dave Gregory, although he's just doubled through off Roland by going all-in preflop with 8-9.

Roland caught him with his fingers in the cookie jar, but his K-9 wasn't good enough as that dreaded 8 hit the board.

Just saw Roland stand up and shake someone's hand  - but the dealer hadn't dealt the flop yet - I assume, from the hand clap from his opponent and the lack of any exit, Roland lost, but covered him... The yoyo swings back down...

Kudos back to Duthie, he's moved the two cash tables that were blocking the way to Ivey's table.

As a result, I've been able to snap this photo and obtain the following chippy counts:

Dave Gregory -- 220,000
Marga Gonsales -- 60,000
Lisandro -- 630,000
Roland de Wolfe -- 125,000
Phil Ivey -- 125,000

Julian Gardner just took a bad beat.

Sitting in the Big Blind with A-8, he called an all-in from shortstacker G Sjoberg, who had raised from the cut-off with A-2.

Julian's expression?

The players are currently on a short break.

In the meantime, I was having a jimmy riddle in the kazi when I heard a familiar voice coming from one of the cubicles.

"Take it from me, this is the place to be," he said.

And as he flushed his poopoo down the loo, out he came... the one and only, Phi Ivey.

What exactly his comment meant, I'm not sure. Poker, the casino, women? Your guess is as good as mine.

Phil (sb) and Gusten (bb) see a flop of Ks 9h Qs.  Phil checks, Gusten tries a 15k bet, Phil calls.
Turn:  Td  Check-check
River:  8s  Phil checks again, and Gusten pops in 25,000.  A fairly sizeable Ivey think, with a little staring, then finally a call.  Gusten instamucks, so by default it's Ivey's.  Q6 is shown anyway.

Johnny Lodden is OUT.

Several monster stacks are emerging now, the most recent of those creations of beastality being that of Bjorn Erik Glenne (Norwegian Champion for 2005), who is now on a massive 890,000 after eliminating Johnny Lodden.

All the chips moved in on a raggy board with two clubs.

Lodden held the flush draw with Ac 8c, whilst Glenne had Pocket Cowboys.

Two non-clubbed cards on the Turn and River, and that was all she wrote for the popular Norwegian high-roller.

It looks like they've admitted that the final Eight will not be reached today - the final hand has been called, and it was won, on the feature table, by David Danesghart.  I will find out how to spell his name... it was Dave Gregory who raised 36k on top preflop:  one caller:  David Danesghart.
Flop:  3h 6d 5s  Check-check
Turn:  6s  Check-check
River:  Ahrt  Gregory checks, and in the dying seconds of the day's play David Danesghart. bets 65k, and gets called.  He shows Aspades Qc - "It's good," announces Gregory.

The spectators were already fleeing the stands at this point, and the daily nightmare of trying to catch a taxi begins...
