Glad to see you're enjoying your poker, free from the pressures of a staking consortium behind you waiting for tales of derring do and scoopios. Myself on the other hand find myself at a loss to where I can play online. As I have an Imac, I can't download the Sky App and the browser version is absolutely Pony. I have accounts with GGpoker and PartyPoker but don't particularly enjoy playing their structure of tournament, the stoopid animations and river card peel(I know I can turn some of them off)really makes me seriously considering stopping playing. I'll probably just start playing sats, for bigger live events and see if I can't get back into live playing which I used to enjoy a lot. Enough of my moaning, looking forward to the Vegas updates and seeing how your retirement goes. Hopefully catch up at a live table soon.

Just found out that the Sky Poker forum and independent site are going. I know you always say that you are pleased for survive the year still in employment, so suppose that I am going to outlast you in employment after all?
Always thought I'd spend my retirement messing about in small stakes on Sky, but can't see it happening now. I have had iPoker accounts in the past, but didn't like it. Suppose I might have to make a few trips to DTD instead, and challenge the new blood there (heard you are cleaning up). Can't see me playing hold'em on line much going forward, maybe just reappear for big series? So hard to make money when so many run solvers.
Also, think am likely going out to Vegas for the PLO8 this year. The schedule is out on Monday. Don't know how long that will last either. are you planning a trip? Maybe I need to take up golf?
Seems Miami John didn't make it, he was one of the good ones.
I'm wondering myself where to play my poker after this happens.

Me and the wife went for a tour of Jersey vineyards and wine making site, we also were the only ones to turn up
I also learnt something...don't drink everyone else's wine quota
I've been to Jersey 5 times on rugby tour. Only ever seen the rugby club and the bars in St Heliers.

My son who turned 18 in December I'm keen to get him started on a pension. he has a part time job at the moment and certainly wouldn't miss a few quid a month9especially as he's living rent free etcH. Just wondering what would be the best option for him. heard various options and I'm after advice on how to proceed. Many tx, Mohican

A memory from 30th January 2012, SPT luton. Imaging getting your seat draw and sitting in amongst this little lot. Extra bonus point if you can work out who's bottom left of the pic? Click to see full-size image. |
Here's the reverse angle of the shot.Apparently you were really really short of commentators so roped Vinnie .in. Click to see full-size image. |

Ooh, I say!
Never thought of that. Anything I should know before I experiment?
Put the bread in to toast both sides slightly, then add ingredients before making it into a sandwich. Not enough room to lay two slices side by side. Do I let them overlap for the initial, pre toasty toasting? don't have to lay them flat, just in there
