My mind is absolutely blown
CEO AND Managing Director of a billion dollar company.
Last I heard, maybe 15 years ago, he was a trader for Sporting Index.
When I found that out, I thought he'd done well for himself.
Now I'm just stunned.
Think this is just American companies. Everyone is a vice president at them. Think he has done well, but isn't a CEO and Managing Director as we'd understand it here.

Got me thinking about the "Unusual suspects" at Blue Sq
At it was one, Jen was another. Was Mickey Wernick another? Any clues to the rest?
What about Jonny Raab who ran the competition?
Hi Keith,
If my memory serves me correct*, the Launch Event contestants were were....
Seat 1 James Dempsey
Seat 2 Joe Grech
Seat 3 J P Kelly
Seat 4 Burnley John
Seat 5 Stuart Nash
Seat 6 Simon Nowab
Seat 7 At It Bradley
Seat 8 Micky Wernick
Seat 9 Jen Mason

*I don't suppose a single soul believes my memory is that good, so here's the actual Live Update thread from the launch Event which was held in a room overlooking Trafalgar Square. Sir Clive Sinclair lived above the room in an apartment & joined us for the evening but upon arrival promptly fell asleep.

What about Jonny Raab who ran the competition?
Think he is a writer for pokerpro online mag, think he recently won an award for an article about some online sites allowing bots

I am indeed still doing a bit of writing here and there. Just published this piece about Brits to watch out for at the WSOP.
https://www.poker.pro/poker-news/wsop/wsop-2025/british-outlook-for-the-2025-wsop/
The article that won the GPI award, which was referred to in a previous post was this one:
https://www.poker.pro/poker-news/a-further-investigation-into-the-existence-of-the-botfarm-corporation/
There is also a follow up, published last week:
