How many qualified so far and how many tickets up for grans?
Hey

Players have qualified via our other promotions such as via CPP Golden Chips for other events (You can win one for our CHIPLEADER and Grand Prix via satellites running now!)

There isn't really a limit on the number of tickets to be won, obviously we will only qualify players until we have reached our capacity in the Caribbean, via qualifiers and direct buy in's Smiley

Cheers Nicola

So how many so far?

Yep, Brandon is truly one of the nicest guys I have met on the poker scene. I met him and played against him at Deauville also and every few years afterwards I would see him and he always remembered me and stopped for a few words.

I might have an inkling who had the K6 highmile Smiley At first I thought it might have been me but then I realised you had said "Blonde Pro" so it must have been someone else.

That EPT had quite a few blondes go deep and if I recall correctly it was the week that blonde launched. It was my first time playing an EPT after having only been playing for less than a year. It was the first time I met Tikay, Thewy, riverdave, Mel Lofthouse, Willie Tann, The Camel, Jeff Duvall & El Blondie himself. Ah the memories... Just wish I had cashed in an EPT since Smiley

Yep, it certainly was an excellant EPT, after the initial downer of coming about 10 off the money in said hand I went on to have a ball!!!!

Met Mel, who comes from very close to me, and many other lovely people, also we had a great little group looked after by the lovely people from the BET365 skin owners. Anyone witnessing the Blackjack in the casino won't ever forget it  Grin Grin Grin

Yep I played it...long story, first big live tourney, doubled up in the first hour and finished day one in top 10%. Day 2 went dry then reraised all in with my AK against the serial raiser only to get called by one of your Blonde 'Pros' who had a big stack and declared 'I'll give you a double up' and called with about 25% of his stack.....obviously I was no match for his K6 suited!!!!!

We've met, shook hands and had a chat. I'll introduce myself next time I see you  Wink

Very nice guy, so was his mate, I too met him in Deauville when he won it and spoke to him quite a lot. I'm sure he was still at college and had qualified through Pokerpoints or something similar! EPT gave his friend a final ticket too which was a nice touch.

Not sure about all that crap in the article though, what the hell would he want to join the US Military to go fight the Oil Industy and Banker's wars for? - would have though he could have put his talent and money to a decent cause!

Hi Nicola.

This is quite possibly the best poker prize bar none and I seriously want to be there. This is my new dream that will get me through  an anotherwise tedious six months so a big up to DTD.

Just a couple of quick questions:

Are the Steps all rebuys? - point is, if you qualify from a €4 or €20 then you are disadvantaged if you don't have the funds to rebuy from the next step.

Is there another way to qualify via Freezouts?

It's always nice to hear good news story and having met you both, you should be proud of yourself as a Dad and proud of your daughter who is a very nice, well mannered young lady.

So are they saying that he died because he hit the canopy?

Yep, not good being hit on the head by a can o peas!

Oh I didn't intend to sound flippant. I hope no one took it that way.

Nope, just my  (bad) attempt at humour!

Wish Tom was around.  Earlier this week when it all happened I'd lots of questions and he's the only one 'qualified' to answer them.  Sigh.  Miss you Tom!!!

How is he the only one qualified to answer??

Apart from anything else, isn't he a Romany Gypsy, not an Irish Tinker?

Wouldn't it be better if they built a fence to keep them in?  Grin

One of my uncles who owned a restaurant was put in prison because when someone tried to do a runner, another family member stepped infront of the entrance. The 'runner' then started beating up his person until my uncle came from the kitchen with a knife and stabbed the guy. To me seems like fair game, but not to the law.

Wouldn't it have been simpler to let him go rather than escalate to a stage of stabbing? Did the family member do more than step in the way? - probably. And is the remedy to stab someone?

I hope he got a long sentance.

Actually makes a bit of sense....Years ago I went to Corfu, fantastic place at the time, but encountered locals who thought that 'English Meat' was there's to abuse. I stepped in once, in defence of an English young lady that was obviously not interested in the advances of 'Spiros' and was warned that 'they will stab you before fighting you'

Unfortunately we have let this 'culture' into our society and the results are only too clear.
