Played cash for a while, nothing really exciting happening, grinded for about 4 hours up to £440, then went fishing. I called a raise of £12 with 78cc, flop was A64ss, I check called £15 with the plan of representing any scare cards on the turn, as i thought he has probably missed this flop, Oh, and I have a gutshot Turn is a 10, and I check call £25, same plan, & now a double belly buster, still thinking he hasn't really got any of this. River I lead for £100, and he moves all in for £450 I made a brave call with the nuts. Had announced I was leaving 10 mins earlier, so waited for 15 mins or so and called it a night. When he moved all in on the river did he announce "ALL OF IT" like that? Haha, yes, Do you know him? Balls, and I was 50/50 whether to go last night. Any mention he would be playing again tonight? Yes I know him, that could only be him from what I read.

"I have the hand to crack your monster." You said as you called preflop. You flop your draw (which is what you wanted) super-sick odds huge pot as they move all-in. If you call pre and get the flop you wanted why fold now? If you call and win the pot you go on to final table it with that stack, and if you fold you may live but end up trying to over-milk your QQQ because your small-middle stacked and end up getting outdrawn :-)
I played a hand awhile back in the same tourny, raised with JJ- 4 callers, it comes down AJT rainbow. Im 100% sure someones called me pre with KQ and when everyone calls my coninuation bet (I've already decided to play this hand knowing I wanted the board to pair up, committing an all-in) the KQ holder decides to min-raise everyone. They all call so with the pot so huge I moved all-in and the board paired on the river. I managed to go on & chop it 4-way at the final table. Thats just how I like to play tournaments, with a decent stack im interested (from a cash player perspective though). And I think if you made that call there, yes your roughly 1/3 to make it but when you do I know your confident in making the final table with that stack, It's whether you feel by not making the call you can final table more than 1/3 by passing there but then questions why you called it preflop and said that in the first place? hehe.

This hand made me laugh. You made out you were super weak (when really you were semi-weak if that....) and against him it worked. The guy you were up against is well known, his range in the cut-off is huge, he actually had AsTc I recall (not sure if you know him personally) but the way he played his hand was ruled by what you said to him during all the ill-timed betting. He thought you had absolutely nothing at all which is something you did really well at the time. Overall, if it folds round to the cut-off who makes it 3x bb to go and I call in the bb with Qd9d and the flop comes 9hTd5d im check-raising this flop against him anyway and at the time it would have been a check-raise all-in. And lets face it, if you limp with 9h5h in a multi-way pot, the flop comes down 7h7d4h everyone checks to the turn which brings , sb bets, bb raises and you smooth call on this board with the sb then re-raising all-in, the bb folding, and you calling with one card to come on a flush which the bb appeared to have also (possibly drawing dead) your not going to fold your Q high flush are you? :-) I'm the guy who 'hollywooded' you a couple hands after with KK when you held AA btw but hey thats variance. Did you get a ticket on Monday for the main event?
