Just because there were worse times decades ago doesn’t mean this situation is acceptable. We play poker, we know small sample when we see one and we understand EV.

PL is 9  in and United have 14 points... W4 L3. If we were running at EV we’d had about 9 points. We were extremely lucky to win vs West Ham and Wolves. Even though we ran out clear winner vs Newcastle we could have conceded 10 vs a more clinical team. Southampton draw was lucky.

In Europe we have 6 points. Should have 3 points max. Every game in Europe has been terrible and we had a very kind draw. Limping through whilst way above EV isn’t acceptable.

Moyes was never a good fit + nobody in the world was ever gonna succeed SAF.. especially when inheriting that squad.

LVG was, stubborn, tried to implement a completely different style with the wrong personnel, and wasn’t backed from higher up.

Jose was the worst fit in the world. I kinda get why at the time... serial winner and all that but is literally the opposite of ‘the United way’..

We have seen progression under Ole, we’ve also seen a way better atmosphere from within . Problem is when comparing progression with the strength of the squad. We’re nowhere near achieving what we should be.

Potter and Howe are worlds apart.

I’m holding faith in OGS, but it starts to feel more difficult....

As much as I love Ole this is getting embarrassing now.

Would absolutely love to see Graham Potter in charge.

You have to love the idea that the Democrats are able to run this sophisticated election rigging operation and yet, in an election where they are forecast to win the Senate, manage to rig it so that they don't win the Senate.

Playing devil's advocate here, perhaps Democrats thought they needed so many votes that people filling out fraudulent ballots only voted for president.

It seems to be getting noticed that in a lot of the swing states a lot of the votes were only for President. Funnily enough, the majority of these were for Biden.

Didn't see that but it sounds painful. They've really snookered themselves by having an independent decision desk.

A Pennsylvania court has just ordered that ballots cured by having the voter come in to fix a signature etc are to be set aside and not counted (until a Court decides whether they can be included or not). It seems that it'll only be implemented for the ballots not yet counted, as it's not possible to go back on those already processed. Sounds like the basis for a further complaint.

Georgia is gonna take ages longer. It's heading for a recount once they're done as it's so close (1,561 difference out of 4.9m votes). Quote from the official who said there'll be a recount - "Some of us went to high schools that had more people than the difference between these two candidates".

Military votes yet to come in. Regardless of who wins, recount on the cards. Isn't Georgia a state that recounts anything within a 0.5% diff range anyway?

I saw a comment from some Republican politician piling in on how unseemly Trump is being - he said something along the lines of that every US election has irregularities because they're big and complicated affairs. But that they make barely any difference to the overall result.

I'm guessing Trump is hoping that if he casts a wide enough net he'll manage to get something that actually makes a difference somewhere that is really close but realistically I think he just wants a narrative to say that he never lost, it was stolen and even the courts were in on it.

Surely if there was ever going to be a massive election fraud, this would be the one.

Having a large % of ballots posted via Mail is just asking for trouble.

If anything does come from these lawsuits, I hope both sides are investigated. It's pretty apparent them the Democrats most likely of the two parties to have cheated, but that's not to say the other side isn't doing the same to some extent.

Why is Nadal 8/11 in the French Open final?

H2H vs Djokovic on Clay is 17-7. Djokovic was having his best years for all but 2 of those wins (2011/2015/2016).

Nadal has won the last 3 Clay meetings. Skipped the US open for freshness.

Djokovic played 5 sets in his semi. Nadal hasn't dropped a set all tournament.

Surely the bookies have such a major sporting event priced up right but 8/11 seems a decent price to me.

Would the cold be a factor? Obviously, you'd think it would slow things down.

I must confess to refraining from posting this yesterday as I understand how real fans must feel after a game like that.

The question is whether it's mere coincidence that the performances were so much better when Pogba was injured for ~6-months.

He is clearly a Rolls-Royce of a player/athelete - but is he possibly a disruptive/negative influence on the team?

We're consistently a much better team without him albeit with a slightly lower top level.

The team would benefit from his departure, but I can't see it happening any time soon. He's one of very few 'superstars' United have and we're unlikely to pull more in unless there are drastic changes.

Pogba aside we really really needed a big transfer window. We didn't get it. LB position been strengthened thankfully but still lacking at CB and RW. Gutted we didn't get Sancho but glad we didn't get Dembele in. Bad attitude, didn't want to come. Would have been Di Maria v2.

That was weird from Khongsong. Got caught well but wasn't a lot of power in it. Super delayed reaction and looked like he'd been shot. Sat up after rolling around for 5 mins then a few mins later was on the stretcher.

United 98/99 (Treble)
Chelsea 04/05 - (Mourinho)
City 17/18 - (100 Points)
United 07/08 - (Rooney/Ronaldo)
Arsenal 03/04 - (Invincibles)

Rank the above.

Where would Liverpool 19/20 come in the rankings?

I would have waited another week or two before this announcement. Let the R drop a bit further.

At least those pressing Johnson for an exit strategy from this have now got a plan.

They didnt like a simple stay at home message and wanted more. Now they don’t like his plans (which are subject to change).

He will get criticised which ever route he takes.

R wouldn't have dropped in 2 weeks, it would have likely risen.  I think you have misunderstood R.

Why would R have increased with a 2 week extension on lockdown? Surely R continues to fall whilst people are staying home.
