I'd 100% take a greyhound.   Wee bit big for our house though thats the only problem.  I think the biggest I could go to would be a spaniel.   Or somehing similar.

Thanks Red, the £300 put me off because it seems far too cheap.  My instincts are something isn't right.

The cost isn't really important if its the right dog I am prepred to pay.

Looking to get a dog now that me and the Mrs are settled in our own place.   My intention was go go to Dogs Tust and give a home to a dog that really needed it, I have owned dogs before and been aorund dogs my hwhole life same as the other half.   But I felt Dogs Trust to be very picky and somewhat stand-offish it was as if they never wanted to give the dogs up, everyone i liked the look of they raised somesort of problem.     I get they need to be careful, but it's highly unlikely imo that you can make a full assessment of a dog when its caged and kept with a number of other dogs.

With that in mind, I have been looking at the buy and seel websites and making enquiries, some offers seem to good to be true.   So I am obviously weary about handing over hard cash without having any sort of comeback should something go wrong.   Today I seen a French bulldog advertised on Gumtree for £300, now to the best of my knowledge this seems like its been given away.

What shite do you watch on TV?

My Mrs watches this shit, I absolutely hate it.

i appreciate the first round is sometimes not too competitive, but i throw it out there....

I'm on Belic at 1.62

mens? womens?

why?

Woman, your man at BE seemed quite impressed by her last week and I expect her to ride on high today.   Not a great mind on Tennis but seems she should be shorter today.

I don't particularly care about England but, what amuses me is that every generation that comes through they are never bedded in properly and the nation always ecpects come big game time.

I think we only need to look at Spain/Germany/Brazil/Argentina (to a certain extent) they bring players through in bulk and use the under 21/23 teams to bed them in and it seems to work.

After the players you need to look at the management/coaching structure.  I mean Gareth Southgate?  Seriously, I don't think he ever showed anything to suggest he was a top thinker/coach.

There has been consistant rain up here in Scotland for the last 2 hours, I am just back from a spin towards Hamilton and weather was pretty murky out there as well I suspect if it keep up and he forecast is for rain that it will be very soft, and i think we have discussed on here previously the impact that has.

Lets get some winners!

I took of another half a kilo this last fornight, not great but given my activity levels have practically been zero other than going to work and going home I am fairly happy with that.   I have another session with the Chriopractor tonight so looking for some relief so that I can at least get back swimming at the weekend.

I'd say I am still on target for my first major goal of a 15k weight loss by September, I have time on my side and even in bad week's with zero activity I am still burning calories by watching what I am eating.

I expect a big season from Bolton,  as I mentioned on TfT last season I was told from a fairly reliable source Lennon would be provided with a war chest if he kept them up.
