Was an interesting (though not unexpected) change in market positions of XRP and ETH last week. How long until XRP/BTC flippening? 6 months, or sooner?

Out of interest..when you predict 3 bucks..is it just hope, repeating something you've heard on the zillion ramp vids,
or some kinda knowledge

Though not on your list, I'd say it was mainly research. Obviously some hope too though. Hype videos tend to suggest $589 at EOY, which is ridiculously unrealistic imo.

I'm not sure why you used the word legitimate ace but gold is clearly a terrible means of exchange. If it wasn't we wouldn't have needed paper money. It's heavy and indivisible.

If not for price volatility Bitcoin would be a far superior medium of exchange.

Hey Mango, yeah I'm trading crypto full time at the moment. Nice call on xrp btw, got in a few days ago. It might actually hold the number 2 spot for a period after this. I saw it briefly went over today again. Def more of a short term play for me but it's shown a lot of strength.

Hey DC, long time no speak, you good? I live overseas myself now too (South of France running a watersports holiday company, teaching wakeboarding and waterskiing and a few other things).

What's your views on XRP? Personally, I think it's the most likely crypto to go big in the next 3 months. I'm gambling on it being somewhere between $2 and $3 (though higher would be nice) by the year end. I think %-wise, it'll be the most successful crypto by quite a long way between now and year end. It does kinda break the rules of cryptos - way too centralised, way too much control and ownership of XRP by Ripple itself, designed for big business/banks rather than individuals etc., but it has a great use case (for them anyway!), and if they do continue to get on board I think it could go massive.

Other crypto-wise, I started buying around May 2017. My brother got involved 18 months or so before that, and made a *lot* of money on ETH. Bought in for £tens of thousands when it was less than $2. It peaked at $1200+!. Mad!. Though obviously he sold chunks along the way, so doesn't quite have £429million

Does anyone have XRP? I bought a whole chunk (too much!) late 2017 in preference to BTC (though I did buy some BTC, BCH, XLM and ETH too). I sold all my BTC a few days ago and moved it into XRP as figured there might be an XRP bull run, and 'tis going a bit crazy the last three days for sure

Please dear god dump your xrp here and forget about it. Rank 2 in crypto and enormous volume are a sign off a blowoff top- Price peaked nearly 2.5x since the 18th.

ha, no thanks. I think it'll be somewhere around $3 at EOY, possibly higher. I did offload a few thousand coins at 0.67 though just now, and tried to buy-in a bit lower, but muffed it and ended up with .67 again :p (it's now 0.61, ah well.).

Change since midnight GMT was +75%  (now down +35%), with 3 day change something like 125%. Nuts.

DC was such a nice guy. He was always willing to give advice and help to those starting out in the business, and absolutely without ulterior motive (which was as rare then as it is now). A very sad day.
