Why is there no hand for hand in the 30 freezeouts.

Some are some not, the sat for the £300 tickets had no hand-for-hand.

Not like to be critical but something that really needs tightening up, it is too random and as a result the amount of open collusion in the chat-box is frankly ridiculous imo.

2  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: HUGE ISPT satty value - you got 5 mins to reg into 3e buy in on: May 12, 2013, 06:11:53 PM
there's not as much money around as people would have you believe...excellent value I know and such a shame but the economy is far from as good as they keep telling us in the papers.

i can understand this for the 30 1r1a and 300 buy in levels, but DTD are giving people a route in for under 10 euros

these tokesn are an absolute value fest, just from the maths of it. I can only conclude that people still don't get it

Amazing that they don't even start! As you say people still don't get it...
Been out and missed the last one but ready for the 6pm.

OK so it might just be a thinly veiled blatant brag post but just when I am looking at the seat draw for my absolute luckboxed EPT snowfest package I get sent this..

Got a reply on the rates just wish I was going to LV to need to book some cash!

At this moment, I can offer you the USD exchange rate of 1.5300 for £10K and 1.5370 for £40K.

$1200 extra (vs 1.505) and no carrying too much cash FTW!

Where is the best place to buy USD? I am guessing there must be places in London that do good rates?

Ive always found Eurochange to do good rates personally.

Assuming ( probably incorrectly ) you are ging to Vegas why not book a commercial wire straight to the casino cage in USD?
Rate should be better and no hassles.

i thought the casinos would probably give you a worse rate. no?

Sometimes the rates are as good as you get over here for sterling but I was meaning Transfer from £ into $ like a deposit in USD direct to the casino cage.
Just out of curiousity I will get a quote for USD booked that way to see how it compares with 1.505. I would gues it will be 1.52 or so.

Now I shall go away and prepare to fall flat on my face haha

P.S. I would be no good as a hrose but quite happy to be the bag man if you need one

Would also be an idea to turn off the chat boxes when it gets down to 60 runners.

The amount of people telling everyone to "slow down" or "just pass" was embarrassing tbh. Ridic amount of collusion.

At least it let you know who were the weak asses. Made blind stealing very easy  Smiley

Yeah - a tournament where 3/4 of the field had under 3BB isn't poker.

I wish I had 3BBs! I was in full squeak mode from 70 runners down.

At 4000/8000/800 a guy on our table survived with 82 chips.

I saw that guy! Cant beleive he made it when the Ante was 600  Shocked Shocked

But the thing that matters to me was I made it too   thumbs up

hmmm..will have trouble playing this ME...can we transfer these seats onto a next ME like we can with the 300 sat?

Was this ever answered? I would struggle to make this one but would love to try and lock a seat up for the next one  thumbs up

Hello Mr Duk, yes Simon answered this for boldie on the Dusk Till Dawn News thread.  He actually replied that seats were not transferable to the next £1,000 "Monte Carlo" Grandslam event.

Since this, we have had discussions and came to the conclusion that the best outcome for everybody would be that seats won in this 50 Seat Guarantee CAN be transferred to the "Monte Carlo" in September if you couldn't make this one.

So there you go, yes!

Although seats are not transferable to other people.

Thanks for the reply Chilli! Might not have realised if I you hadnt pointed it out, phew.

Just hoped on and registered after that bit of good news

 Hi Aces

could you confirm if these seats are transferable or deferable to a later date please?

The seats are not transferable to another player but you can choose a later £300 Deepstack if you can't make the May one.

Cheers

As pointed out in earlier posts the correct date is 27th April !

ACES

Simon,

What is the process for changing to a later 300 event please?

Thanks in advance!

heres something that pissed me off about the software.

I transferred 80 quid or thereabouts to my poker account, and reg'd for the tourney.

logged off, and switched computers.

logged back on, and played the first 90 minutes.

asked me if I wanted to add on - I said yes - and it said "sorry you dont have enough funds" - it had transferred the 58 quid back out of my poker account into the general account.

not good.

A friend made the same mistake... Although his was a rebuy prompt and out of the comp he went. Yet another quirk that can make Boss so frustrating.
