Ping is 29/14 according to my stats and seems to be a solid player imo.
FullTiltPoker Game #1126170205: Table Johnson (6 max) - $2/$4 - No Limit Hold'em - 20:00:26 ET - 2006/10/20
Seat 1: ulm8Gotcha ($705.90)
Seat 2: KaiserHorst ($482.70)
Seat 3: Psykbryt ($398)
Seat 4: PingPingPing ($494)
Seat 6: tunderhill ($502)
tunderhill posts the small blind of $2
ulm8Gotcha posts the big blind of $4
The button is in seat #4
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to ulm8Gotcha [
]
KaiserHorst folds
Psykbryt folds
PingPingPing raises to $14
tunderhill folds
ulm8Gotcha calls $10
*** FLOP *** [
]
ulm8Gotcha bets $20
Psykbryt adds $2
PingPingPing calls $20
*** TURN *** [
] [
]
flyhigh719 sits down
flyhigh719 adds $400
ulm8Gotcha bets $44
PingPingPing raises to $134
ulm8Gotcha calls $90
*** RIVER *** [
] [
]
ulm8Gotcha checks
PingPingPing has 15 seconds left to act
PingPingPing bets $326, and is all in
ulm8Gotcha has 15 seconds left to act
I donk bet hoping he raises of course but they never do do they. I dunno if I should have pushed the turn or not? There's a possible straight now, He could easily be raising suited connectors, a pocket pair or something that fits here. On the river a possible flush and he goes all in. I've played this quite weakly so maybe I should call?

I don't normally condomn these type of lay downs when your opponent has displayed strength pre-flop, but I honestly would let it go here. Looking back through the hand and judging it by my experience with cash game players, I can't see what he'd have here except for Pocket Sevens.
These are just based on what I witness and, of course, he could play differently to the average player, but, this is what I expect my opponents to do with the possible holdings:
If he had an overpair, then he probably would have raised the Flop rather than the Turn.
If he'd flopped the Flush draw, then he would have re-raised the Flop or made a bigger re-raise on the Turn.
If he has 4-5 (open ended), he would have raised the Flop or smooth called the Turn.
If he turned the diamond flush draw, then he would have smooth called your bet.
With Pocket Sevens, however, the story seems to fit. He raise preflop with his pocket pair (check), he flat-called your flop bet trying to trap you instead of raising, as most pre-flop betters tend to do on the flop (check), he re-raised you on the Turn when the board started to look dangerous (check) and moved all-in knowing he had the best hand as soon as you showed weakness on the River (check)
Fold for me. The only hands that you might be beating is A-7 or maybe
, but even that's a stretch.
What happened?

I think you can fold there, agreeing with most of what snopoy said. I probably would have set him in on the turn though.
Had a genius hand last night where there was set over set, an overpair to the board which became a set on the river and a mateyboy with top pair who hit runner runner straight to scoop a huge pot, i had the bottom set and was in stitches. How the top pair bloke doesn't get the message when it goes raise, call, call, Raise, re raise, all in, all in

I think you had to, you can only beat a bluff, there are SOOOOOOO many draws he could have filled and because of this his allin can only really be done with a hand......or nothing.

Just push it in on the turn then you dont have to spend any time worrying about the river. If he is a good player with a wide range preflop, he isn't raising here with just better hands then you....especially given your flop/turn donk line... he can (and will) be pushing worse made hands/draws hard on the turn. When the river comes down you cant really beat anything apart from a bluff so.....
.......... if you are calling the turn, then a good percentage of the time you should be calling any river, because calling turns in spots like this is (on the turn) generally done to give very agressive players a chance to hang themselves by representing scare cards on the river, and if you aren't intending to call river pushes when scare cards hit, you should generally be slamming it in on the turn (as a standard play.. naturally specific instances abound where it is better to take alternative actions)
Incidentally I lost with quads over quads today, first time its ever happened to me. I thought your thread was a great place to put it. If I was playing on party, Ida got maybe $100k for it. Such is life
