Perhaps the "punishments" should only apply to bad beat stories that are caught trespassing out of The Bad Beat Reservation.

I've posted Bad Beats before but I clearly mark them BAD BEAT, DO NOT READ. if anyone then does so, they have themselves to blame. a genuine need for feed back is different, like the AJ I made the horrible call with last week. I think bad beat stories are ok as long as the poster is prepared to be told why it was actually their fault.
"So I'm in the BB with A2 suited and there's been a raise and a re-raise..."
or
"I'm first to speak and I have K,J. I raise to..."
Hey! Those are my normal plays.

i think it's a great idea, create an entirely different section for those who want to tell each other about how they lost this and that and leave the rest of us in here having some fun. Call it "hand analysis and bad beats". It is very tiresome looking at new topics, getting halfway down then discovering it's building up to a whinge. Or how some say "yeah i'm in the 10k tonight, need to get my own back after last night when i raised with.................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!

Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life. Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft? Of course not.

Undecided 3 (15%)
Total Voters: 20
Just for those who didn't vote but would like to know the result.

Personally i dont think the bad beat section would be a good idea as firstly it creates endless arguements as to "what specifies a bad beat, what criteria does a hand have to meet to qualify?" etc etc. i once saw an article regarding bad beat stories which i agree with, here it is i'll let other blondites form their own opinion.... http://www.pokerineurope.com/pokerarticles/detail.php?articleid=740i know of another site where they have a seperate section for bad beats and you cant help but laugh at how worked up people get over these beats. it always seems to be the same people posting continuously always blaming everybody but themselves for their endless bad fortune.....

how ever in a constructive, supportive envoroment like this people offering critisism would be good.
I don't understand how there can be a movementt against a section. if you're not interested in a topic don't read it. I only read the Tourney threads when there's specifically someone I know in the comp in question, doesn't mean I want it removed. one mans bad beat story is another mans cry for help.

The charge (not donation!) should be at least £5, and double if it's dressed up as
A "how would you have played this hand....." jobbie
Somewhat surprised there's not been a smutty retort to this post yet. Come on Red.

Well alternatively we could simply appoint AdamM as Blonde's official Bad Beat counsellor. All Bad Beats could then be PM'd to him rather than posted on the forum. Adam could then award T-shirts for Bad Beat of the day/week/month etc. 0:-)
