IMHO i think both sides are reasonable. I would have given the kid the benefit of the doubt but can totally understand those who dont.

Hi there.......very rarely post...normally lurk but found this debate interesting.

Personally my philosphy is "do unto others as you would have them do unto you", so I would retunr the money less my fee. 

I believe in karma generating positive thoughts and hopefully, in the end, good things will happen to good people (perhaps this is overly optimistic but I'm sticking to it)
